2020.09.19 04:19 fcatthepanerabreadA week in your favorite firearm dealer's not-so erotic life *or* FC's tale of two grandmas! 9/18/2020
Friday 9/11/2020 to Friday 9/18/2020 I won't do the play by play. It's more fun to just amalgamate the highlight reel of the week. Emails! Subject: Sig P226 Message: Will trade for RAS-47? FC: Sure. What do you propose? I have a century arms RAS47 that has 30 total rounds through it. Magpul furnishing blk on blk. FC: Right, you told me that earlier. Shipped or picked up? What value do you put on your trade? Meet in person I’m in Lafayette. Value 900-1000. FC: Okay, so I'm supposed to give you asking price for what reason? I have to resell that gun, so I'm supposed to buy it from you for $900 and sell it again for $800? I was looking for a straight trade so you’d only have to sell it for what your asking for the Sig, or more if you're good at your job. AK's are definitely a hotter demand item right now. I’d prefer if you could text me (number) (Editors note: FC does not text. Only drug dealers do business via text message.) FC: Let me get this right. You want a straight trade so I only have to sell it for what I'm asking for the Sig. I have to do the work of selling two guns so I can make the same money? You can sell an AK for more then the Sig in the current market. I’m just stating how easy it is for you to break even worse case scenario. FC: There's a lot of gun guys in the breaking even business. I'm not one of them. Plus, if it's so easy to sell an AK, why don't you sell it and bring me cash? It’s a trade so your only selling one anyways. Plus all will sell a lot faster... I’m not a dealer I don’t have people walking in looking for guns. Whatever easy sale and flip for ya but your loss bud FC: Selling an Sig 9mm plus selling an AK is two guns. You must have gotten that common core math. I'll tell you what. You think it will sell fast? Bring it over here and leave it with me. I'll tag it and put it out at $1200 and when it sells, I'll have a 226 ready for you. (No response) Subject: Sig P220 on Gunbroker Message: your ad says $1200 with CCL. arkansas ccl is reciprical with louisiana will you honor that? FC: Picking up in person? No. Reciprocal for carry not for anything else like NICS exemption. are you a federal firearms dealer ? FC: No I am not. (Editors note: I'm a manufacturer) if i can l can legally hold own and carry any firearm concealed on my body or in my vehicle , then the rest is just cash exchange between to citizens , i can legally have own and carry the p938 , there is nothing not legal , we cN do a orivate bill of sale photograph my dl and ccl incase soneonencommits a crime , i can have a truck full of guns all legal, i just have to do the background check again to be able to pick up at an ffl , nit requred to register or anything like that (Editors note: I delete the message) Subject: Glock 17 Gen 5 MOS $775 Message: Is that price for real? FC: No, that's wrong. I'll fix it right now. (I change it to $875 on the website) LOL o shit he raised it another $100, sorry man that petty ass shit doesn’t bother me. Honestly it just makes u look like a fucking joke. You’re the problem with dealers, it’s hard to find glocks this month so let’s jack the price up $300 and try to rob someone that doesn’t know shit about guns. Adam Kennedy FF/PM (name of his fire department and department phone number, sent from his department email) (I google his name and email. He's got a low serial number HK Mark 23 for sale for top dollar.) FC: I sold 10 at the gun shows for top dollar, this is my last one. Nobody's getting stock. If you want a $625-650 gun, I've got plenty of those but Glocks are selling for top dollar and then some right now. For instance, if you had a low serial number Mark 23 with everything that nobody could get - wouldn't you want top dollar for it too? I had a mk23 preban with original woodland operators bag, and original Wilcox attachments (well all but the IR) and I put it on the forums. I let people out bid themselves not post it for an absurd amount/hundreds above MSRP just because they are hard to find. The point is I’ve been in guns since around 2012, met some really genuine people and what sets that site apart is people seem to have a mutual respect for each other. I understand that you have a business and have to make a profit but if you can’t separate the two and not price gouge the absolute fuck out of very common items just because you feel you can. Then maybe that site isn’t the best place for you, 95% of the people on that site are individuals and when a business comes along and does that it’s a slap in the face. FC: So, you accept that you want top dollar because your merchandise is hard to find and are willing to accept the fact that the harder something is to find - the more people are willing to pay for it. You do it, and it's okay. I do it and I'm trying to rob someone? That's called moving the goalposts where I come from. Like it or don't like it, check gunbroker and all the other dealers - everyone's getting top dollar. I just did a show last week where I was $975 on Gen 5 19's, $775 on 43X's and $700+ on all gen 3 guns. The dealer across the aisle from me had Gen 5 34's at $1000. We're in business to make money, and people are willing to pay these prices because they're so hard to find. How do I accept that?? When I sold the mk23 I posted it for a set very fair price, people offered me more because they wanted it. And top dollar would be MSRP or close to, top dollar is NOT hundreds above MSRP. Let me ask you this, does Glock charge you more (the dealer) because they are selling a shit load of them and they are “hard to find??” Does what you pay for glocks as a FFL change as drastically as the prices you are charging based off the market? FC: You wanted, and got as much money for your rare hard to find product as you could? That's called getting top dollar! The new ford bronco is going to sell for above MSRP. For THOUSANDS more. are you going to call Ford and complain about that? Of course not.H Hundreds above MSRP is what guns are selling for right now. If you had some for sale, are you telling me you'd sell them for hundreds less than you could? I have not gotten a wholesale gun in stock in months, I have been buying guns at retail to resell. Glock does not set prices and distributors have nothing to sell me - so your question is entirely ridiculous. Do you remember the last time around 7 or 8 years ago when Colt 6920's were $2500 and SCAR 17's were $5000? That was nowhere near MSRP and I didn't hear anyone complaining. Since you don't seem to like it at all, I suggest you leave public sector employment and try to run a business and pay the bills with no product coming in wholesale. (Editors note: FC used to be a public servant. FC used to work in the fire department. FC knows that you can get in deep shit for sending profanity laced emails on city email account with email signature. I forward the email to his department chief with a polite message tactfully reminding him that all emails sent to a city email are preserved as public records.) Subject: Noveske lower Message: Would you be willing to do a one for one trade? I have a NIB Anderson lower. I’m specifically looking for one of a few specific brands of lower and Noveske happens to be one. FC: So I'm supposed to trade you even up and sell an anderson for more money? BTW. CTD got lowers back in this morning. They're andersons and they want $199 for them but I don't think I'm going to be able to get that price. (No response) Phone calls! A: Guy wants a folding bracestock. I ask him if he wants a brace or a stock. He does not know the difference. I ask him if he's building an SBR. He says he's building an SBR, specifically an SBA3. I die a little inside. B: Guy calls looking for 100 rds of 38 special for his colt python. Drives up in his tesla and hands me a ritz calrton titanium black card. $75/100 okay? No problem. He asks if I have any more at that price. I tell him as much as he wants. C: Endless calls for 9mm and 380 ammo. D: Guy calls me asking for a Glock 43X. He comes in and looks. I tell him $775 as he's holding an Amex. I say I'll do better for cash. $775 out the door. He says deal. Comes back the next week with $575 cash and I look at him funny. I paid $550 for the gun retail but he owns the Chickfila 20 miles up the road and gives me a stack of be our guest chicken sandwich coupons. I begrudgingly accept. E: Lady calls me she's headed to the range in a few hours. She needs 500 rds of 40S&W and some 380. Me: I got it. 500 rounds of 40 - $350 1: $350? Me: $350. 1: No, no no! Me: Yes, yes, yes. 1: It can't be $350! That's $350! That just can't be! Me: Welcome to 2020 1: Well the 380 ammo is cheaper right? Me: Not really. You're looking at $65 a box. 1: No, no no! Me: Nobody's got ammo right now and we're getting top dollar. That's the price, feel free to shop around. She never calls me back. F: Guy calls me asking about my Federal 115gr 9mm. Cheapest on Ammoseek is $57 a box. I don't want to be that high so I price it at $55/box. He says how much for the case. I tell him 55 times 20. He's bad at math so I tell him that's $1100 for it all. He calls me an asshole. I tell him everyone's asking me to get 9mm ammo so I'm buying it retail and marking it up. He tells me not to buy it at retail and hangs up on me. G: The gun club president calls me. the club needs a new 5.56 upper. I ask why. Someone shot 300 blackout through the old one and destroyed it. I tell them I don't have any uppers. I have complete rifles. Cheapest is $900 for an S&W sport M&P. I can hear his jaw dropping. There's other miscellany but you get the gist of it. NOW here's the meat and potatoes you've wanted! The tale of the gun show! Friday 9/11/2020 I take inventory. I'm down to about 350 guns in stock and I pack as much as I can and get it ready for the show. I've got some Sigs left, a handful of Glock and a mishmash of everything else. I head to bed early knowing full well the next show will be a good one. I bought a bunch of Glock 43X's retail. Saturday 9/12/2020 I pull chocks at 615AM. This show is about an hour down the road from my house, the last time I was there I sold nothing all weekend, broke my oakleys and vowed never to return. This time is gonna be different, I said to myself. At 7AM I walk in and I start loading into the show. It's a small venue in the middle of MAGA country. Everyone wearing red hats and trump train shirts. In a few hours the doors will open and we are off to the races. I will do hour blocks instead of my previous play by play for simplicity. 9AM: Slow start, the show is spread out across TWO buildings so they route people into the other side and it takes them about 30 minutes to make their way into the big room. First sale of the day is my last Sig 365. For $700. It takes an hour and a half to get his background check back. 10AM: Guy points at an FNS 40C and wants a deal. I make him a deal at $525 cash out the door. He says he'll come back and think about it a bit. I sell a shield for $500. I sell a Glock 43X for $775. I sell a Glock 43 for $700. For some reason everyone is calling me Daniel. It takes me an hour to realize it's because I'm wearing a gray Daniel Defense polo. 11AM: FNS40 guy is back. He says it's a deal. I hand him a clipboard. he hands me an already filled out 4473 like another dealer rejected his sale. It's folded over on the long side and I tell him to fill out my form in front of me. 10 minutes later he hands me the pre filled out folded form thinking that I'm stupid. You gotta be shitting me. I park his ass in a chair hand him a pen and tell him to start writing. He fills it out. I enter in his background check and it does not come back right away. He gets antsy. 12PM: FNS 40 guy wants his money back. I refund it and keep $100 for me. I grab my tablet and someone has swiped right on my bumble. We begin chatting and I ask her if she wants to go to dinner. She's a little older, in her 40's and works for a bank. What the hell, why not. Someone asks me what it takes to suppress his beretta 92. I tell him he needs a threaded barrel. They run $250. Someone overhears me and brings by his S&W 5906 and expects me to get a threaded barrel for $250. Guy asks me to bring the threaded barrel tomorrow. I say sure. 1PM: Lady comes by and asks me if I have any 5.7's. She's on the phone reading down my inventory. I ask her if the gun is for her or her friend. She says for her. I show her the 5.7 on the table and roll my eyes a bit. 2PM: 5.7 lady comes by with her butch lesbian lover. She tells me its a deal and I hand her the clipboard. She fills everything out with lots of errors. I get her background check in and I tell her $1375 Her jaw drops. She was looking at the FNS 9mm for $575 next to it and didn't think that 5.7 pistols were $1375. She coughs reeking of weed. I void the sale. Guy walks up asking me for 70% silencers. I just laugh. 3PM: Another guy comes over asking me if I got a 5.7. I tell him yes. He says he's got $1000 right now for a 5.7. I tell him I'll take $1000 as a down payment. He laughs and is adamant that I take this $1000 for a 5.7 tagged at $1375. I ask him if he's got cash and all his ID and everything. He's on the phone it's actually for a friend of his. I ask him if his friend can get here before the show closes at 5. His friend has no CWL so his wife has to buy it but he's going to pay for it. This guy is barking up the wrong tree. I go back and help someone else. He's looking at a Springfield XD I've brought and asks me if I'm making any deals. I tell him we're not doing a lot of discounting at the show. He shrugs and says he tried. Another guy asks me for a Glock 43X. I walk him over to the stack and show him the tag at $775. He scoffs at me and walks away. 4PM: Show starts slowing down. I write up a Sig P238 Tribal and a P938 BRG for some customers at $700 each. I write up a S&W M&P15 sport for $900 as my last sale of the day. The lady was super nice and understanding when I pointed out the errors on her 4473. 5PM: Time to go home! I dump off some transfers to another dealer and hit the road. It's an hour to get back home. 6PM: I take a shower, shave and get to the restaurant for dinner. 7PM: I'm at the restaurant waiting at the table and I discover that the woman that said she was in her 40's is actually a 58 year old grandma of 2. Someone shoot me. She says she's not that hungry and proceeds to order soup, salad, a martini, an espresso and dessert. She's ordered $65 in F&B to my $35 steak. This was a complete waste of an evening. My depression worsens and not even a bowl of mint chocolate chip can break me out of this funk. My will to live is eroding by the minute. I fall asleep at midnight and set my alarm for 747AM. I make a mental note to move up my therapist. Sunday August 16th 747AM. Wake up, take a swig of orange juice and run down to the deli and grab a sandwich and get down to the show. I grab a threaded barrel for a Beretta 92 on my way down. Note: The guy never shows up for that barre. 10AM: Get to the show and uncover my tables and get cranking. It's a slow start to the day. My first sale is a Springfield XD. The show goes on and I write up an FNS for someone. The customer writes the check out payable to HK NO COMPROMISE. I look at them confused. FC: Why is this check made out to HK? 1: That's what it says on your shirt, HK NO COMPROMISE - that's the name of your company, right? FC: sigh 11AM: Guy wants a can without a tax stamp. 5 12PM: Someone walks over. Points at my stack of silencers 1: I can't pick one of those up here! FC: You got two arms don't you? 1: I mean I can't buy one here! FC: If you got money you can buy one! 1: You're a real smartass you know that! FC: Beats being a dumbass! The peanut gallery laughs at our exchange. 1PM: Guy wants to buy a Walther P22. Fills out the front sheet of the 4473. Satisfied with his answer, he turns the page along the perforation, rips it off and proudly hands the top sheet to me. I die a little bit inside. 2PM: 7 different husband/wife combos ask me for shield EZ pistols. I write up my last M&P 15 sport I brought to the show for $900. It's a good day! I debated bringing another but I figured selling two for the weekend would be plenty. 3PM: The lady that bought that S&W M&P15 yesterday? She wants another one. I have three left on the shelf. I take her money and tell her I'll meet her at the show next week and she says no problem and does all her paperwork. u/throwawayfire343 's coronavirus infected ass shows up and needles me on a gun. 1: How much do you want for this $150 gun? FC: About 350 1: really FC: Gimme $200 and fill the goddamn form right 1: deal! I take his money and wrap up a few other folks and get ready to pack up and head home. He does the form right much to my chagrin. 4PM: Show is closed. I start packing up. I snag 500 rds of 9mm off the dealer across the show. He started with a full pallet. Most of it is gone. Price? $500/thousand. I am packed up and on the road in a little under an hour. 5PM: Homeward bound........I wish I was........HOMEWARD BOUND.............. I hit the truck stop for some diesel and a cold fountain drink. 630PM: I get back to my desk and dump off a fucking STACK of 4473's. I make a bank drop for the cash and I unload and head back home. I'm starving, I go grocery shopping and grab some comestibles. I cook myself dinner and head home. Monday September 14th 10AM: My back is out and my depression is worse than ever. I don't know what hurts more, my back or my brain. I head in and get my 4473's worked on from the show. 11AM: Guy asks me to get some 9mm ammo for him held until after work. No problem. He says he'll be here at 445 after he gets out off at 430. He works around the corner. 12PM: Lunchtime. It's Chicken Bacon Ranch day at the market. I'm starving. I grab my keys and get ready to leave when I get a call from a lady from the gun club. She wants one of my last Sig 938's. I tell her to come by, I'll delay lunch for her. 1PM: Laura shows up and spends 45 minutes with me trying to decide on which 938 she wants. She has no intention of shooting this gun she just wants one in case antifa shows up. She leaves and says she will come back in 45 minutes. Great, I can go to lunch now. 2PM: It try to go to lunch. I am not successful. Laura calls me asking me more questions and tells me she has another friend wanting the same gun. I tell her I will put my lunch on hold and she can come on by. She and her friend debate Sig 938's for a while and each of them buy a gun. I got a twofer! Woo! This calls for a celebration called lunch. 3PM: I get a call from a semi regular. This guy buys a gun or two a year. He's getting his concealed license and does not want the government to know he's buying guns. So he's sending his wife in to do the 4473 for his birthday present, a Wilson CQB 1911 they've purchased off gunbroker. I tell him great, send her over and I'll get her paperwork done. I get ready to go to lunch. The phone rings, Laura and her friend want more of my time. Fine. I will put my lunch on hold. Come on over. 4PM: Laura and her friend come over and Laura suggests that I give each of them a few Sig 938 7 rd pinky extension mags for free since they just bought two guns. I look at them in great pain. Women. They make the highs higher and the lows more frequent. I'm sorta in a woman hating mood after this week but I don't want to take it out on them. I explain politely that NOBODY is getting free goods right now. if you want mags, I have three left. They spent 25 minutes arguing with me and then they decide to buy all three mags. Great. Terrific. I'm going to lunch now. Your business is appreciated now GTFO. The guy that wanted me to reserve 9mm ammo for him? Yeah he no showed. 5PM: Beef jerky lunch time. I get my keys and get ready to walk out the door. The wife of Wilson Combat buyer is running errands and can be over here. Sure, come on down. I'll be here. She does all her paperwork and we talk for 2 hours about how autistic you all say I am and how not autistic she says I am. Nice lady. She brought me gummy bears. I tell her I am clearly on the spectrum because I behave and think exactly like her autistic son. She fails to believe me. 7PM: I can finally go have lunch! I go to the Olive Garden for lunch. 815PM: I get home from the OG. This is not going well. My colon does not like the pasta and breadsticks. I spend the next hour and a half making three trips to the throne. This fucking week. And it's only sunday. God damn. I take a tylenol PM and sleep it off. Tuesday September 15th 10AM: I get in and start catching up on vendor calls and paperwork. 11AM: UPS rolls in with a wilson and some piece of shit suppressor from some company. I call Lisa and tell her that the package is here and she can pick it up anytime. She says she will be right over. 12PM: Lisa gets her gun and thanks me with some things she got at walgreens. Red hots, and pens. I laugh. I tell her it's fine. She's confused. Her autistic son always liked Red Hots and pens. 1PM: I swing over to the deli and it's Monday. They have hot browns today. I love a hot brown. I grab one and check in on facebook telling the world of my discovery. So many great job poopin memes and comments ensue. 2PM: I call the guy who's got the el cheapo 556 can. He's pissed. That can was supposed to be sent to another dealer across town. I tell him his options. A: I can do his form 4 and charge him my hourly. B: I can ship it back to the vendor and charge him my hourly. C: I can ship it to the dealer across town and charge him my hourly. He's PISSED and tells me to do the forms for him. I tell him email me all the info and I'll get it done. I get an email in GMAIL CONFIDENTIAL MODE. What's CONFIDENTIAL MODE? It's a self destructing email you can't reply to, forward or cut and paste from - which makes this useless since I have to cut and paste all the info he's given me. I tell him I need the data in a different format. He yells at me about PII and stuff and I offer to do the form 4 in front of him. He relents and emails me what I need. It's missing a birthday. No biggie. I email him a draft and he says it looks lfine. 3PM: The guy comes by and he's pissed at the vendor and takes it out on me. I tell him if he does not want to do the forms from me, I can send it to the dealer across town. He's mad as hell and I've discounted my rate to $100 as a goodwill gesture. 1: You're charging me $100? FC: Yes 1: But you're not doing anything. FC: Here's the checklist. 1: The other place did my photos, fingerprints and everything and charged me $100. FC: Great. I'm not spending $8000 on a fingerprint scanner to make it back $100 at a time. 1: So you're not doing anything. FC: I did these forms correctly as you asked. 1: But you didn't even do my fingerprints! Or my passport photos! What the hell am I paying you for? FC: Why'd they send the item here/ 1: Hell if I know! You should call them and find out! FC: You want me to call them? 1: Well you dealers have a special phone number and email. They won't answer my calls or my emails. FC: What makes you think they're going to answer mine? 1: You're a dealer! You have a special back office phone number to reach them that I don't have, right? FC: Are you kidding me? 1: No! You all have that special communication system that the public has no access to! FC: Gimme your $100 and get these forms reviewed, I've got another customer to help in a bit. 1: You mean I gotta mail it out too! The other place did that for me! FC: You want me to mail it? I'll mail it. Get the prints done, get the photos taken and get the form filled out and I'll mail it. 1: The other place answered all the questions for me! FC: I. DON'T. CARE. 1: I am really upset about all this you're charging me the same money and you're doing no work! FC: You want this can? 1: Yeah FC: Then follow my instructions. He pulls out three credit cards with damaged magnetic stripes that won't work. I manually key the card and I'm now working for $96.50 dealing with the biggest pain in the ass I've seen since operation machinegun salvage in 2019. 4PM: I have to go to fedex to drop off today's orders. 1000 rds of 22 leave the building for $189.48. A bunch of mags to the west coast and a Sig P220 are leaving. 5PM: Make it to Fedex where I say hi to Cathy and the gang. I swing by the market on the way home and grab some shredded romaine and a thin cut top sirloin. 545PM: Now I told you this story was a tale of TWO grandmas. Here's the second. I get a call from my attorney buddy Eddie, my partner at the consulting company. He got a call from a lady needing help with some ATF Forms. He knew it wasn't his area of expertise and wanted to know if I could do it. I said send the details my way. He tells me it's an older lady and to expect an email. Moments later I get an email from him. Subject: Forms for Karen Witherspoon Message: Will, attached is ATF correspondence from ATF to Karen, I think you can fix this. Thanks! I look at the attachment. NOTICE OF TAKING DEPOSITION DUCES TECUM - State of Louisiana vs Billy Bob Ray Thibodeaux FC: Eddie, I got your deposition notice not the ATF forms Eddie: Whoops FC: If that's the worst thing that happens this week it's not a bad week. Eddie: She knows you're charging her I didn't give her a price. FC: Lemme look at it and see what we got. 6PM: I call Karen and ask her some details. Her husband was a former licensee/SOT and left a machinegun behind when he died. She did ATF Form 5 and got some errors and needs help fixing it. Just as I'm on the phone with her Eddie emails me the packet. It's bad and riddled with errors. Out of 20 fields that all need to be filled out correctly, 12 are wrong. And not a little wrong. A LOT wrong. I won't get into it here but I might in a separate post. ATF wants the forms back at their facility in 30 days. The mailing date was 2 weeks ago. Which means these forms need to be corrected RIGHT THE FUCK NOW and sent out. Oh and she's got no fingerprint cards. I tell her that I can drop everything I'm doing this evening, go over everything with a fine tooth comb and have this done in a few hours and I can drop them off tomorrow. She says if I can make a house call that would be good since she has furniture movers coming to empty their house in the morning. I tell her no problem. $350 and I'll see her tomorrow. I run down all the forms and fix everything. I do a public records search and pull court filings for the probate and print them off and enclose them as ATF requested. $350 for basically an hour's worth of work isn't bad. There's a steak/bottle of wine split for Eddie in there since it was his lead. 8PM: I call Karen back and tell her I've got everything done but ATF needs a copy of the will. She says she has it. I got everything else they asked off the clerk's website. She's super impressed. I tell her there's a reason Eddie called me. 9PM: Time to cook dinner. My phone is about to die. Just as I plug it in I get a call from u/fat_italian_stallion He NEVER calls me unless something's up. We had a quick chat over the weekend at the gun show that went something like this FC: So that's how I got catfished by a grandma on bumble FIS: LOL that is epic bad. I'm in New Orleans for a week on vacation with the gf FC: The psycho one? FIS: You know it. FC: If you need bail money let me know FIS: I just might! That was Sunday morning. It's tuesday night. My phone dies as I try talking to him. I switch to my landline and call him. FC: What up? FIS: I need a solid FC: How bad is it this time? FIS: Can I sleep at your house tonight? She went nuts again and attacked me. FC: I told you not to get invovled with her didn't I? FIS: She's hot! FC: You know I'm like 3 hours away from you right? FIS: Yeah I got a half tank of gas. FC: Go fill it, here's the address. See you around midnight. You hungry? FIS: Starving. FC: I was getting ready to fix dinner. I'll see you at midnight. Get here when you get here. 9PM-1145PM: I fix up the guest suite and prepare dinner. I run to the Target near my house since they close at 10 and grab a few more things. I get back just before 10 and I prepare to fire up the grill and get a steak going, salad and a fresh ravioli dish drowned in Rao's tomato basil sauce is on the menu. Steak hits the fire at 1130 and is resting by 1145. I plate everything and have it on the table at midnight. 1145PM: I get some spare towels and hotel soaps and shampoos. I head out to the driveway and turn on all my lights and leave the garage door open. I set a lawn chair up and crack open a large bag of boom chicka pop poprcorn and await the arrival of one u/fat_italian_stallion 1204AM: u/fat_italian_stallion rolls up. I've got guns and roses "Used to love her" playing on the ipad FC: sup? FIS: Long day. FC: Dinner's on the table. Lets eat. Wednesday September 16th We eat and go to sleep. fat_italian_stallion does not know I have slid my spare ipad into the guest suite on the nightstand. Did you know you can set an alarm on an ipad to instead of making a noise to play a song? 757AM: The ipad alarm wakes up fat_italian_stallion. The song? A little band called Confederate Railroad blasting "I like my women a little on the trashy side." He'll have to tell you the rest of the story. 9AM: I chat with fat italian and we chat a bit skipping breakfast. He has decided to leave this godforsaken state and put some miles between him and the psycho. I don't blame him one bit. 10AM: Breakfast! I throw on a charcoal canali and hit the chickfila drive thru for some breakfast chicken biscuits. I head to my desk and get some paperwork and some calls done. 11AM: I get a call from my attorney buddy Sam. He wants to know how many laws his client who has sent in a Form 1 and not notified the CLEO has broken. I explain I was just having that debate with someone on the internet! It's not a big deal but still kinda a big deal. Our consensus is that it's not count one on the indictment but it could be count five or six. 12PM: Lunchtime. I'm not hungry so I skip lunch. I head to meet with the grandma with the MG and I go over all her new forms that she needs to get fixed with fingeprint cards and my notes. She's super appreciative and gives me $350 in cash. She can't find the will. I call her attorney that I know and he's not picking up. I tell her see if she can get an original copy of the will from the clerks office or from the attorneys office, they normally have a copy. I ask her what plans she has for the gun. I mean, what's a grandma supposed to do with a registered Colt M16? All her husbands friends wanted it and they all offered her the same amount so she didn't need it and decided to sell it. She's taking the $5000 she's getting and going on an Alaskan cruise with the grandkids after the world calms down. I shrug. She should have called me. 2PM: Back at my desk, I call the judge's chambers that's doing the probate. Judge Smith LOVES the 308 that I got him a few years ago and is super pleased with my services since he didn't tell the wife about his purchase and I had just gotten a damaged case of 308 PMC Bronze that I made him a hell of a deal on that UPS wrote off. I tell the JA that ATF probably isn't going to call but in case they do just be ready. She's super glad that I told her ahead of time so she can be ready. Judge Smith is retiring in a few months and he's got some time in the schedule so she patches me through and we catch up for a little bit. I am told that they're going to try to do a COVID compliant socially distanced retirement disrobing party but it's all up in the air. I say if you all need someone to bring potato salad to let me know. As a stalwart of the legal community for many years, lots of folks know the judge so it's well deserved after 20+ years on the bench. As I am also well known in the legal communty the least I can do is show up with a bottle of red for the guy that's signed hundreds of form 4's for me over the years. 3PM: I ship out a few more pistols and sell an M1A scout squad to a guy in California. Not a bad day. 4PM: I'm done for this week. Between the gun show and getting catfished and everything I've earned some time off. I think I'm gonna take the rest of the week off. The phone rings and a guy wants some 9mm ammo. I sell him 500 rds at $375 plus shipping. Thursday September 17th to Friday September 18th: I wrote this for you all to read. PS - and this is how you do a "week in the life" thread, you fucking imposter. https://www.reddit.com/guns/comments/i759qj/a_week_in_the_life_of_your_favorite_firearm/

Many people think that The Simpsons Collection on Disney+ is complete now that it has The Simpsons, The Simpsons Movie, and the two Maggie Simpson shorts all in it, however there's still a few things from The Simpsons series that are missing on Disney+ and therefore missing from The Simpsons Collection on Disney+ and that one of those things is a cameo from The Simpsons family on an episode of Sesame Street. As many of you probably know, The Simpsons has made many references to Sesame Street over the years, but what many of you probably don't know is that The Simpsons have actually officially appeared on an episode of Sesame Street called "Monster in the Mirror." And along with the original The Simpsons shorts that were a segment on The Tracey Ullman Show, the Stark Raving Dad episode of The Simpsons (Season 3, Episode 1) and the The Simpsons DVD/Blu-ray audio commentaries, it is one of the only The Simpsons things left to be added to Disney+. "Monster in the Mirror" is a Sesame Street song sung by Grover. In Season 22, the song was re-edited to include cameos by celebrities who had appeared on the show that year, including María Conchita Alonso, Candice Bergen, Ray Charles, Chubby Checker, Glenn Close, Tyne Daly, Geena Davis, Bo Diddley, Roger Ebert, Whoopi Goldberg, Jeff Goldblum, Kadeem Hardison, Charlayne Hunter-Gault, Bo Jackson, Kid 'n Play, Robert MacNeil, Lou Diamond Phillips, Julia Roberts, Gene Siskel, Jeff Smith, Tracey Ullman, Blair Underwood, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Robin Williams and The Simpsons. In this celebrity version of the song "Monster in the Mirror", The Simpsons replace two monsters on a wall painting, and at the end, Homer reprimands Bart (who yells "Hey, Wubba man!" to Grover). The show's voice cast are heard in the segment (Dan Castellaneta as Homer, Julie Kavner as Marge, Nancy Cartwright as Bart, and Yeardley Smith as Lisa). But yeah, the appeal of Disney+ is that it has everything Disney in one place. Without this cameo added to Disney+, and without the original The Simpsons shorts from the Tracey Ullman Show, the Stark Raving Dad episode (Season 3, Episode 1) and the The Simpsons DVD / Blu-ray audio commentaries, that appeal is pretty much untrue. Without these few things added to Disney+, the The Simpsons Collection will technically remain incomplete. Also, The Simpsons is one of the biggest and most successful things for Disney+. It has been on Trending since Disney+'s release, so I'm sure any The Simpsons content added to Disney+ will get watched a lot. But also, a lot of stuff on Disney+ is old and dated. The appeal of Disney+ is that it has everything Disney owns in one place. Which includes those old and dated things that a lot of people probably wouldn't want to watch. But, those things will still always have their fans who do want to watch them. Especially when it comes to anything Disney. And The Simpsons is now Disney. Plus, the hardcore The Simpsons fans that have always been there would of course want an easily accessible location to watch all of The Simpsons content in one place. And yes, the rights to this cameo most likely belong to Sesame Workshop due to them owning the rights to the episode the cameo appears on and owning the rights to the Sesame Street show as a whole, and yes, Sesame Workshop currently have all of their content on HBO Max through deals with Warner Bros., however, it is not impossible for Disney to make some type of deal to have only this cameo come to Disney+. It doesn't even have to be the full "Monster in the Mirror" episode or song, it could just be the The Simpsons cameo from the Monster in the Mirror episode/song. It could be added as a short to Disney+. It would be perfect for The Simpsons Collection that's on Disney+. And Disney has made deals with other companies to get things they don't own on Disney+ before, such as Bluey, PJ Masks, Gigantosaurus, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, Miraculous World: New York – United HeroeZ, and Miraculous World: Shanghai – Lady Dragon. These are shows and movies that are and have been close to the Disney brand, so I can only see them going out of their way to make deals with companies for things that are already closely related to Disney. And The Simpsons falls under that category. I could imagine them going out of their way to get anything and everything The Simpsons on Disney+, especially since it's still being watched like crazy and is still at the top of their Trending.
2020.09.05 18:59 NorthStarPC[META] Last Follow-Up on my Ampere PSAs. Q&A
I've gotten a lot of questions from the PSAs that I've posted on the Ampere GPUs, so I will try to answer them here. This is just my opinion and my view, so feel free to disagree with me. Q: Should I pair an older quad-core i7 CPU, such as a 6700K or 7700K, with an Ampere GPU? Think about it this way. Would you pair a quad-core with a 2080-Ti or 2080 Super? The vast majority of PC enthusiasts would not. In late 2020, quad-core is pretty much the “entry-level”, so it would not make too much sense to pair an “entry-level” CPU with a high-end GPU due to possible bottlenecking. Q: Should I wait for Zen 3 processors to come out before building an Ampere-based system? It depends. If you can wait, it can be a good idea. AMD and Lisa Su have stated many times that Zen 3 will arrive towards to end of the year, so we can expect them soon. Zen 3 is rumored to deliver an extra 10-15% IPC increase over Zen 2 processors, so they will be stronger in gaming. However, Zen 2’s IPC and single-core performance is not bad, and you won’t be missing out on too much extra performance. Regardless, it is expected that Zen 2 pricing will drop upon the release of Zen 3, both in the used and new market, so that is an added bonus of waiting. But again, it is really up to you to decide if it is worth waiting. Q: Does it still make sense to buy an RTX 2000 or RX 5700 (excluding 5300 and 5500XT) GPU? Definitely not at MSRP. However, it is expected that online retailers will slash pricing of previous generation high-end cards upon the launch of RTX 3000 graphics cards. However, the main price cuts will be displayed in the used market, as we have seen RTX 2080 (Normal, Super and Ti) and 2070 (Normal and Super) cards’ decrease in pricing on marketplaces such as eBay, HWS, and OfferUp. Do note that the RTX 2000 and RX 5000 series are still great graphics cards, and will last many more years. If you are trying to obtain the latest and greatest cards with the newest features and best performance, then the Ampere GPUs are for you. But if you do not really care about the new features, then last-gen GPUs will still be a great choice. Q: I have an Ryzen 5 3600, should I upgrade to an Ampere GPU? You can, but there are some things to consider. The Ryzen 5 3600 is a mid-range CPU, it is no doubt one of the best bang-for-the-buck processors out there. However, I would not recommend putting an RTX 3080 with it if you are trying to game at 1080p. At higher resolutions, say 1440p @ 144Hz, the Ryzen 5 3600 may run fine with a 3080. However, at 1080p, you will see some limitations. For the 3090, I think you should look into an Ryzen 7 3700X or an i7 10700 at minimum. If a person is willing to put forth $1.5K for a top-of-the-line GPU, I think it would be reasonable to get a high-end CPU. Q: Should I wait for RDNA 2 (Big Navi)? It really depends. If you want next-gen performance now, then it would not make sense to wait for RDNA 2. However, if you are not desperate for a new card, then it does make sense to wait for AMD’s RDNA 2 GPUs. Like with Zen 3, AMD and Lisa Su has stated that RDNA 2 will be coming later this year to PCs and the new consoles. In my opinion, I do think that RDNA 2 will create some competition, and competition is always a win for the consumer. Q: When is the RTX 3060 coming? I do not know. My best guess would be late Q4 2020 or early Q1 2021. Keep in mind that the RTX 2060 launched on January 15th, 2019, so I guess we can probably see a similar January launch with the RTX 3060. Q: How do I obtain a new Ampere GPU? Unfortunately, Nvidia has not allowed pre-orders for the upcoming RTX 3000 cards. I guess you just have to be quick on launch date, as these new GPUs will likely sell out very quickly. The RTX 3080 is scheduled to launch on September 17th, 2020 and the RTX 3090 is scheduled to launch on September 24th, 2020. The RTX 3070’s launch date has not been officially set, but Nvidia has stated that it will be in October. Q: Should I sell my RTX 2000 series or RX 5000 series GPU? I would wait until third-party benchmarks on the new Ampere GPUs before selling an RTX 2000 or RX 5000 GPU, as that would give a more accurate comparison between the RTX 3000 and last-gen GPUs, which will affect the pricing of older cards. Q: Can I NvLink (SLI) an RTX 2000 and RTX 3000 series GPU? No, you cannot NvLink different Nvidia GPUs. Q: Can I NvLink the new Ampere graphics cards? Yes, Nvidia will be launching the NvLink Bridge for RTX 3000 GPUs on September 24th, 2020. It will cost $79.99. Q: Should I NvLink the new Ampere graphics cards? I would not advise doing so for gaming purposes. Less and less games are supporting NvLink, SLI, and Crossfire, so you would not see a major performance increase. It is best to just buy the next tier GPU. Q: When will their be RTX 3000 Super and RTX 3000 Ti GPUs? I do not know. It may be possible for Nvidia to release them as a response to AMD’s RDNA 2 GPUs in the future. We have seen leaks for RTX 3000 Super and Ti graphics cards, but none of them have been confirmed by Nvidia or board partners. Q: Should I run Ampere GPUs on PCIe 4.0? Judging from what we have seen before, PCIe 4.0 will not make a huge difference in performance. However, I cannot say for sure until we see benchmarks. Q: Is it still a good idea to pick up a Vega, Pascal (GTX 1000), or a Maxwell (GTX 900) GPU? A: Depends on what kind of performance you are after. If you want DLSS, Ray Tracing, NvEnc, and top-tier performnace, then I’d suggest picking up an RTX card. However, if you do not need the latest and greatest features, then Vega, Pascal, and Maxwell cards can still be great choices, especially if you manage to find them for a good price. Q: I recently purchased an RTX 2000 series GPU and I want to upgrade to an RTX 3000 series GPU. What should I do? If you have an EVGA graphics card, that was purchased less than 90 days ago, they have a step-up program (EU, USA, and Canada Only). Otherwise, you can try to return the GPU. Intro Please Watch Remember when VH1 played music retrospectives around the clock? I sure do and I miss it terribly. If you weren't around for the series at it's peak, it's easy to miss how great these specials were. Just by looking at some of their lists at face value the order of the songs could be a little wonky to say the least, even if the spots were chosen by votes. But when you step back from the specifics and look at the big picture, you would get an extremely diverse and thorough crash course into the trends and music of the time. You'd get the indie darlings, the headlining acts, the flashes in the pans, the award winners, and the novelty acts all in one. It's better to not think of their lists as statements of overall quality, but more as the definitive songs that created the soundtrack of the decade. If you don't know much about a particular genre or decade of music, their lists are an incredible first step into discovering so much great music. Me and my lovely cohost u/pearllouise will be hosting this great look into the past where we will be rating their greatest songs of the 90's list! From TRL pop to gangsta rap to grunge it's all here! Throw on some flannel to get into the mood because things are about to get totally tubular!
A brief history of the series
VH1 started their "The Greatest" series in 2002 when they counted down the 100 sexiest artists of all time (number one was Madonna, of course it was Madonna). The early specials were not really what they would be known for as they still had a bit of time before they found their groove. Mostly the earlier episodes would be more along the lines of "50 Greatest Teen Idols" and "100 Most Outrageous Celebrity Moments" and stuff like that. Early "The Greatest" episodes did have their moments like their list of hard rock bands, but when I see people talk about their favorite countdowns I mostly see people bring up the late 2000's episodes. The first decade end retrospective came out in 2006 when the counted down the 100 Greatest Songs of the 80's and this was the first time I stumbled upon the series and I immediately fell in love. The series would continue on this trend with 90's and 00's retrospectives as well as counting down the greatest one hit wonders of both the 80's and the 90's. Luckily enough for us, somebody was kind enough to upload almost the entire"100 Greatest One Hit Wonders of the 80's" special onto Youtube so if you're curious to see what they were like feel free to check that out. If you don't want to watch, imagine 100 bite sized One Hit Wonderland episodes by Todd in the Shadows and you kind of get the idea. As a matter of fact Todd has mentioned in the past that the specials were influential on his content and the phrase "One Hit Wonderland" is actually mentioned several times throughout the 80's retrospective. Most of the series has unfortunately been lost to time which makes it all the more important that we look back at one of the most popular countdowns they did, and rerank all the songs in Popheads image.
The 100 Greatest Songs of the 90's
In 2007 VH1 released their Greatest Songs of the 90's special. These are the songs we will be rating.
We also have an optional bonus rate of a few 90's songs that we felt deserve recognition. Some of these were songs given by VH1 that you could vote on but missed the cut, where as others are important products of their time that we felt deserved some form of representation.
RULES/INSTRUCTIONS Here are the rules that I mostly copy and pasted from the disco rate on how to submit scores.
We will be rating 100 songs in this rate, and yes, YOU MUST RATE THEM ALL FOR YOUR SCORES TO COUNT. This is breaking the record for the longest rate in Popheads history so we will be lenient with extensions. There's a ton of quality in here and we want to make sure you get as much time as possible with all the songs.
Assign a score to each song between 1 and 10. Decimals are fine, so long as they are to one decimal place (i.e. 5.4 is fine, 5.42 is not). Also, please use periods (.) for the decimal places and not commas (,)
You may give ONE song an 11 and ONE song a 0. Reserve these scores for your favorite and least favorite songs in the rate. This is only for the main rate. You CANNOT give a 0 or an 11 for songs in the bonus rate.
The only place you should submit your scores is at the preprepared link found below.
Feel free to change your scores at any time up to the due date, just PM me about it.
I reserved the right to reject and ask you to resubmit any ballot if I feel you are unfairly sabotaging any of the artists and/or have obviously inflated differences between them. Unless the Pac/Biggie beef is somehow still alive on popheads I don't think this should be a big problem.
If you would like to add a comment to your scores (which is encouraged!!), the correct way to format them can be found below.
Korn - Freak On a Leash: 3 I prefer my freaks to be free range
That is THE ONLY WAY to properly form comments. Here are some incorrect examples
The Presidents of the United States of America – Peaches 5 Got pears in animal crossing. Still salty Sinéad O’Connor – Nothing Compares 2 U: I'm giving this song a 2 because there's a 2 in the title *NSYNC – Tearin Up My Heart: (1) Man of the Woods really tore up my heart JUSTIN
You may also write comments for the album as a whole, directly next to the album title in the prepared message link.
Okay now, here's where things get a little funky so even if you've participated in rates before please read!!!
There's a lot of songs here, and every attempt we've made at making a premade link has failed us. Because of this there's two ways to submit your scores.
Option one: has you copy and pasting the pastebin link into a standard message. Then make the message out to u/steelstepladder and I should receive it.
Option two: to submit is to use the premade links divided into two parts. If you want to use this option please submit both parts at the same time!
Because this is a bit weird I'll be happy to field any questions in the comments or in my DMs.

2020.07.23 09:43 AsleepSatisfaction0What went wrong with Shane Dawson? REAL EXPLANATION FROM AN OG FAN
EDITED: because of popular demand in the comment section, I'm adding more information. 08/24 Hello everyone, First and foremost, I must say that the following statement does NOT intend in any way to justify, attack, or offend Shane. I will be spitting some facts for things thatare not available on YouTube anymore. I think it's important because most of you didn't know what happened, or weren't even on YouTube back then. It's your choice to believe me or not. Or just dive really deep to find it yourself. >> NSFW OFFENSIVE VIDEOS stumbled upon Shane Dawson's channel around 2010 - (10 years ago) when his channel was called "Shane Dawson TV". Back then the whole concept of the channel was to be a f***ed up TV show, except it's online and there are no rules. It was like an alternative to traditional media with edgy humor and a lot of spoofs, inspired by "Superbad", "American Pie", "Degrassi" and "Jackass". Most jokes were centered around shit, sex, disabilities, stereotypes, and the emo-style depression. As king pewdiepie says: "CONTEXT MATTERS" so let me mention a few things:
This was the Skype & Emo era
Even back then he was among the most popular channels on YT
This type of "COMEDY" was the "standard" for online humor. Being unpredictable, talking about sh**, p**n, and making fun of celebrities.
People were watching MTV and later on unironically loving shows like Jersey shore
Popular channels around this time:Ray William Johnson was the most subscribed person. People loved Tobuscus because of his spoofs. Later on, even Jenna Marbles appeared as the first girl on YT to be genuinely relatable.
Shane became famous for his character SHANAYNAY - "a ghetto wanna-be-woman"
His audience was recreating Shanaynay and sending him fanart of this character
This type of humor was loved by the audience. Back then teenagers LOVED "American pie". Shane was among the most subscribed and let me tell you that nobody even said a thing about his videos. Trust me, back then comments appeared in chronological order and I, myself, am a big comment reader. People were answering the cynical "Question of the day" and sending over video answers recreating Shanaynay. Shane's whole career was based on the attention and encouragement he got for Shanaynay. So he kept doing it. He kept adding more characters. People wanted to meet&greet him at malls and were sending him A LOT of fanart and gifts. ATTENTION: Today youcan't find these videos on his channel anymore. The latest video you can find is an apology for blackface. ----------------------------------------------------- >> VLOG CHANNEL Shane also had a vlog channel "Shane" - the platform which is now used as his main channel. He would upload every single day a short vlog up to 5 minutes. Most of the vlogs were a short montage of his day. They were not that entertaining but Shane's audience loved them for his jokes. The videos were following Shane around the house and outside. Most of them featured his family and close friends. He was joking around with his mom, grandma, brother, and cousin. He would also go out with a friend to a food place, entertainment park, or a mall and just joke around with random people or customer service. BTW: There was one video of him \allegedly* calling Ghost Busters and *allegedly* finding a lost photo and a note from a demon in his basement. Does ANYONE remember that? And why was he trying to act like it was real? If ANYONE remembers, pls guys, comment. ???????* --------------------------------------------------- >> NOT COOL & Dating Lisa Now, let's get to "NOT COOL". We all know it's bad. However, what I find interesting is that Shane decided to not promote "The Chair" series, but only his movie. He most probably knew that the series would show his "diva" behavior on set, which is really disturbing.
Around this time He tried to "get out of his shell" by trying to love his body and care more about his appearance
For a while, he stopped with his jokes about having no hygiene
He was gaining more self-confidence and receiving a lot of compliments
He shaved his head in the movie - marking a big transition from one era to another
He started working out and was looking great
He started being publically recognized as not only funny but also an attractive creator
He invited his fans to vote for him and won "The Chair"
He actually mentioned that you should watch *both* movies in order to vote in the contest
Then again he said that he won fairly, and not only because of his fanbase, which is clearly not the case
While dating Lisa he was gaining confidence
Shane was doing a lot of collabs with creators such as Joey Graceffa and Tyler Oakley
British creators were gaining a lot of publicity
The main joke going on during this period was that Shane was secretly dating Joey Graceffa, behind Lisa's back. Later on, both Joey and Shane came out of the closet.
>> Coming out. FOOD VIDEOS AND DIYs It looks like after Shane shaved his head he went through a metamorphosis and a few months after breaking up with Lisa, he decided to upload his coming out video. One year after that Shane started uploading food video & DIY series with little to no original content at all. None of them were engaging or interesting but were bearable to watch because of Shane's natural charm and sense of humor. This part of Shane's career felt like he was trying too hard to find a way of uploading regular content without putting much thought into it. During that time he was talking about quitting the platform quite often. Alexis G. Zall and Destery would keep uploading on the weekends' short videos in commentary style. It felt like Shane knew he was making trash content but still, was joking about it instead of facing the case. He was also in touch with his ex-girlfriend and would make collabs with her, joking and referencing the fact that he came out as bisexual. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >> DREW MANSON, GARRET WATTS, AND TRISHA PAYTAS ERATbh I believe this was Shane's best era. During his friendship with Shane, Garret, and Trisha, he seemed the most genuinely happy. His jokes were the funniest. He was posting mostly vlogs, but even the vlogs were funnier than his content in the past 4 years. TRISH LIKE FISH> He met Trisha trough an open casting call for one of his spoof videos. Onset he realized she was a stripper and they started joking about it. Later on they became friends. DREW> Drew was a cast of Not cool. Shane believed that Drew was the new big coming-up actor in comedy. They stopped hanging out after Drew started dealing with severe personal problems, which he decided to keep private and I respect that. GARRET> There was a moment where Shane announced starting a company with Garret and Andrew. They also announced fan merch - popsockets and t-shirts. They even bought a house for office purposes. Somehow nothing ever happened from there. I believe that if he stuck to this plan, he would never start a business with Jeffree and would be at a different place RN./ ---------------------------- The Bobby Burns thing We're not talking about this failure either. Shane really has no clear vision of talent. He was just trying too bad to hand over his channel to someone until he realized that people were watching his channel for him. Earlier trough his career he trying doing the same thing a lot of times by hosting a weekend series with a bunch of smaller creators. They all failed. They were also all filmed the old "Ray William Johnson" way. NEW 08/24: I must admit I was very confused when I saw that Shane was deciding to create a series dedicated to his "hater" Bobby Burns. It was an original turn for him, but I didn't like the tone of the series. My own, personal opinion, is that he was trying too hard to publically receive admiration and acceptance from all of his haters, and bullies, ever, and decided to use Bobby Burns as a generalized image of people from his past. What also confused me a lot is that Bobby's content wasn't as good as Shane's. It looked like they didn't have much in common - in terms of the type of videos, humor, interests, etc. To this day I still can't explain to myself why Shane decided it was a good idea to give him a whole segment "The Bobby Burns Show". Long story short: It didn't last. Two or three videos were uploaded but they were kind of boring and generic - buzzfeed-like cheesy style. A lot of dislikes and negative comments were also received. * * As of today, I can't even find those videos. ---------------------------------- >> Conspiracy. The conspiracy series first started as a single video by Shane, simply made because of pure interest. Over the years Shane talked a lot about his fascination with "dark" topics, conspiracies, and so on. It was relieving to see Shane again being passionate about something. And that's why one video was followed by another, and then... whole series. Shane was back on top and went trending FOR THE FIRST TIME IN HIS WHOLE CAREER. This clearly gave a green-light to Shane and he started investing more time in production and editing. He invited Andrew and started "The Spooky Boys Series" with Drew and Garret. --------------------------------- >> Dating Ryland This was the first time Shane publically talked about dating a man. It had happened in the past over the last year, but he never mentioned it in front of a camera. It seemed like he started to feel more like himself. PERSONAL OBSERVATION: I, personally, started seeing a more feminine part of Shane. He was expressing his emotions more, he started wearing more makeup and trying out more girls' clothes, his voice changed (he referred to the voice in his past videos as a fake, alfa-male/hetero voice). Ryland helped him come out even more. ------------------------------------ FRIENDSHIP WITH JEFFREE. You probably know what happened there. I'm just here to tell you about the past, because it's out there, it's online and people somehow forgot about it. My personal opinion is that Shane kind of lost himself. Since he started dating Ryland he changed his behavior a lot. He started acting a lot more feminine, maybe he started being truly himself for the first time. I'm mentioning that because he was acting way different in the past. However, his past is still online and is now hunting him. But remember context matters. Posts like this one matter. You need to know the whole picture.
2020.07.21 21:32 ListlessPotatoThe MafiaxCop FanFic! Sorry it took long~
MafiaxCop [Home] "No! Please forgive me! I have a family to feed!" a middle aged man begged as a click from a pistol echoed throughout the room. "Sorry. Nothing personal." A gunshot rang out as the mafioso heavily sighed. "Ok maybe it was a little personal." he started to clean up the bloodied room, leaving no trace behind. "May god forgive you but I won't." the mafioso chuckled as he walked away and merged with the shadows. [Friday, Police Station in 42 City. Time: 12:20 pm] "I just need more proof!" a young girl with short black hair bashed stacks of files unto the cop's desk. "Ok Lisa I know you've done a lot right now but this isn't just enough for me to issue an arrest." The cop said with a sigh while he arranged the scattered files. "I swear I'll make a report. I'll expose that... that killer!" Lisa stormed off the station with a bitter face and a determined heart. "Good job Joshua. I didn't know you can handle women just fine." A lean, tall man entered the station in his military overalls. " Hahaha, very funny Samuel. Very funny." The cop glared at the soldier only to get chuckles from him. "It's nice to be back again." The cop hugged the soldier, being separated childhood friends for almost nine years because of their different circumstances they just can't help but miss each other. "Anyways any news about Caliber?" the cop only gave a bitter frown and shaked his head. Joshua, Samuel and Caliber grew up as childhood friends. Though Caliber was often bullied for his red eyes that resembled a monster only Joshua and Samuel understood him. The moment Samuel was enlisted, Caliber also disappeared leading to Joshua being encouraged to top the police academy in hopes to achieve what his family wants and to find Caliber one day. "Sorry Samuel, There's just too much happening in our city. A murderer is running around and I can't focus on finding him right now." The soldier's eye widened at the sound of the word 'murderer'. "No Samuel. You've done your job at the military you deserve to rest." the soldier was about to say something but the cop held his shoulder tightly. "I understand but promise me you'll stay safe?" the soldier stared at the cop with concern in his eyes. "I promise." [Friday, Back alley of 42 City Time: 11:50pm] A pink haired spy silently walks through the alley holding a small brown envelope. Her face lit up when she saw a man standing by the postlight it was no doubt that he was the mafioso. "Here's the intel you asked for. Make use of it." the spy gave up the the envelope as the mafioso quickly opened it. The envelope contained files pertaining to Joshua. Every single bit about him was in the documents the spy prepared. "It's no brainer he's the cop. You know what to do." the spy said happily but her expression changed when the mafioso trembled at the sight of the document. "Caliber, don't tell me you're afraid of him?" The spy gave a light laugh which she gained a death glare from the mafioso. "Leave Rhea. Your job here is done." The mafioso quickly fixed the files back into the envelop. The spy quick scrambled away, weirded out why the mafioso acted that way. The mafioso gave a heavy sigh as he stared at the envelope. It was no surprise to him that Joshua would become a cop. Joshua always had a strong sense for justice even protecting him from the bullies back when they were kids. To Caliber, Joshua was a ray of light to his darkness. He died a liitle inside when he knew for himself that Joshua's light wasn't enough to keep the darkness at bay. The mafioso walked toward his hideout, still wandering in the back alley. There was no person to be found and the street is as silent as the lambs. These kind of places remind him of the day, the day where he lost his parents to an angry mob. Their red eyes were considered monstrosity. His parents were often called a "pair of outcasts" sometimes " a menace to the city". An incident of mysterious killings quickly where given blame to his parents. The evidence didn't even add up but the people of the city wanted his parents dead. In no time the citizens lynched his parents out of hate and spite. Back then he was too young to understand but now he was too old to forgive. The mafioso looked up to the sky, his resolve to eliminate the citizens is strong and there is no one to stop him not even Joshua himself. Vengeance was his. "Excuse me sir but this place is dangerous at the night you should head ho-" the mafioso quickly froze as man in a cop's uniform was in front of him. The familiar warm blue eyes that gave off peace and his face that radiated kindness. It was poison to him. He didn't need Joshua now, not even ever. "Caliber? I can't believe this. It's you!" the cop beamed, overjoyed to see an old friend. He quickly approached him but the mafioso took a step back, even the cop stopped at his tracks fully knowing something was out of place. "It has been a long time, Joshua." The mafioso smiled, hiding whatever emotion that was surfacing from within. "Caliber... I just want to-" The mafioso cut off whatever the cop was about to say. "Sunday by 12, Meet me at the park, the spot where we usually play as kids." with that the mafioso quickly sprinted away, leaving a dumbfounded cop in the middle of the cold street. [Saturday, Apartment in 42 City. Time: 8:20 am] "Samuel! Open up!" the cop bashed the door as the soldier opened the door wearing only a black tank top and a pair of shorts. "Well someone dresses lightly." The soldier only scoffed at his comment and let the cop in. "Did you find the murderer?" the soldier asked as he opened his fridge to prepare breakfast for the both of them. "No. I met Caliber though." The soldier almost spat out the water he drank. "You. What?!" the cop only nodded but his expression was somewhat restless. After the soldier made breakfast the cop told about what everything happened yesterday, including the 'date' that Caliber had promised tommorow. The soldier took this all calmy but deep in him... He knew something was already wrong. "Are you sure about this Joshua? Isn't this a little bit weird?" the cop only sat in silence. "I want to know what happened to him and there's something I haven't told him yet." Once again the soldier knew the conviction of the man before him. "Then. Maybe you should ask yourself what to ask him tommorow." The cop was surprised the soldier wasn't objecting it. "Don't worry. I'll be on the lookout for the murderer for tommorow. Take your time." Now the cop was suspecting the soldier. "Is this even you Samuel?" the soldier gave a glare. "Ungrateful punk." both of them laughed together as they finished their breakfast. [Saturday, Lisa's Dark Room, Time: 1:40 pm] "This goes here and boom!" the reporter connected all the evidence she had and it just needs a few bit of touches to finish. "This red eyed person is going down, he's the murderer. I just know it!" She immediately prepared to set off towards the print media. To have a quick deal. [Sunday, Park in 42 City, Time: 11:40am] The cop arrived at the promised place twenty minutes early in his tucked in blue polo and faded blue jeans, he looked decent or so at least he thinks. Much to his surprise. Caliber was already there wearing a black suit, sitting in a bench while watching the pigeons fly away. The cop walked towards him looking at how peaceful the scenery is. The cop sat beside him. There was a awkward pause in between before the mafioso spoke up. "Do you remember how we'd play tag in this place?" the mafioso asked the cop as he stared to the green grass. "You were always shunned. You never got to play." the mafioso chuckled at what the cop had said, he didn't need to be so frank the mafioso thought. "Where were you these past 9 years?" "I worked around." "What kind of work?" "Delivery, Woodcutting and some other stuff." "I know your lying." The mafioso laughed lightly but stopped in a split second. "I really despise you. Stop acting like I'm not a monster in your eyes." The cop stared at him intensely but then the cop gave a long sigh. "Do you have any proof that you look like a monster to me?" The mafioso was speechless just as expected by the cop. "Do you even know why I tried to look for you in this past nine years?" the cop asked once again while staring at the mafioso. He just shooked his head, avoiding the gaze of the man beside him. "Then do you also know how your smile back then won my heart?" the shocked mafioso turned to look at the cop but his necktie got grabbed and the cop got a kiss in. Then the cop slowly broke off the kiss and clasped both of the mafioso's cheeks with his hands."I won't force you to tell me. I have a job and you have yours even though It's a lie but if it's you..." The cop pinched the mafioso's cheeks. "If it's you, I'll still believe in you." The cop smiled as he stood up and walked away he looked back once and said silently... "I love you." The mafioso planned to chase him but in the back of his mind maybe this was for the best. Tears began to fall down from his eyes. Love, regret, hate, despair and hope, all of these emotions swirled inside him because of a single man. He picked himself up, thinking that maybe it wasn't too late for him to be saved by Joshua, that maybe he could change, together with him. Then there's this one where he'll be exposed and the cop just might hate everything about him. Regret is always and will ever be strong. [Monday, Police Station in 42 City, Time: 10:50am] The cop signed a bit few papers for some cases doing usually what he does all the while still trying to find more leads about the murderer. "Joshua take a look at this!" the soldier rammed inside the station while holdong a sheet of newspaper. "No need to rush, what's that?" The cop took the newspaper from the soldier much to his despair. 'Murderer exposed!' while flashing a picture of Caliber. The cops eyes widened, he knows the soldier can't fake this and it's already massively printed for all he knows. "They already caught Caliber. They're going to lynch him." the soldier said in a heavy voice. Both of them knew nothing can stop the mob now. The only thing they can do now is to see their friends last words. [City Square in 42 City, Time: 12:00pm] The cop and soldier finally arrived where the last argument was about to happen lots of people were there and in the middle stands a man with burning red eyes. "Caliber." the cop whispered silently as the judge in front silenced the citizens gathering. "Here stands a proven murderer before your eyes. Before we proceed any last words, hmmm, Mr. Caliber?" the judge looked at the mafioso who just bowed his head. "I have no excuses. I just want to say thank you and goodbye to that one person..." The cop held in his tears, clenching his fists. He just wanted to believe in him but in the end he strayed to the wrong path. The cop thought wrong and now all he had care for will be gone. He didn't even heard an answer from the mafioso. "That one person who only loved me. The one I call my 'home'." With that the mafioso was dragged away from the crowd. Never to be seen again. This is my first time creating a Mafia42 fanfic! Well in fact it is my first fanfic. I decided to it to be a little more tragic since the background mafioso was hard to act with. I think it's a bit rushed though~ I wasn't planning to create a kinky one but maybe the next fanfic just might be... >~< So I'll create a poll in Reddit again but this time for the Soldier! Winning ship gets a fanfic of course! Oh any inquiries? My IGN is Strive so y'all can follow me!

December, 2014: Approximate: Constance's daughter Angela visits Joe at the Citrus Heights home on Canyon Oak Drive (the home he lived in when he was arrested.) Angela has not seen Joe or communicated with him since about 2004, ten years ago.
According to Angela, Joe cracked the front door open a couple of inches. Angela said she could only see Joe's nose and eyeball next to the doorknob, as Joe looked around. Joe recognized Angela. But he seemed to be trying to determine if she brought anyone else with her. Angela was alone. Joe invited Angela in. Angela complimented Joe on the roast on the counter. Angela noticed Joe's large calves and said it looks like he eats well, and he looks good. Angela told Joe she "took one of those DNA tests," and received the results. Joe was silent, and motionless, and stared at the wall. Joe eventually asked: "What else did you learn?" Joe showed little interest in the DNA results from 23 and Me so Angela ended the conversation. Angela said she was confused by Joe's tone and his sudden hesitancy, so she didn't tell Joe what she really wanted to discuss. Angela says now that her instincts told her not to pursue the conversation. She wanted to talk about an article she'd read that discussed DNA types consistent among serial killers. As far as Angela knew, the article she read had nothing to do with her. She just wanted to have this conversation with Joe for fun, having no knowledge of Joe's crimes. Angela says Joe always liked to talk about interesting things. She thought the DNA topic would be an ice breaker, as they hadn't seen each other since 2004. Angela thought a conversation about DNA might impress Joe. Joe said he had to leave and was irritated. Angela couldn't figure out why this encounter went south, when she was trying to reconnect with a family member. Joe said he would visit Constance as Constance was diagnosed with cancer.

March 27: Angela writes Joe a letter. Joe did not respond. Angela says the letter included:
She was upset that Joe has not visited Constance, like he said he would.
A discussion of genotyping and DNA she hoped this would "lure" Joe north to visit her mother, Constance. Angela says she thought Joe would be interested in familial DNA.

Michelle McNamara and Paul Haynes remove "half of the [Orange County Sheriff's] department’s evidence from the Golden State Killer case," and store it at her home, allegedly breaking the chain of custody that would be needed to authenticate it in court. Michelle and researcher Paul Haynes sneak out the evidence with the help of sheriff’s staff, under the nose of Orange County’s then-undersheriff. “Michelle and Paul were led to a narrow closet at the Orange County Sheriff’s Department that housed sixty-five Bankers Boxes full of [Golden State Killer] case files. Remarkably, they were permitted to look through them—under supervision—and borrow what they wanted,” states McNamara’s book, I’ll Be Gone in the Dark, which was published about two years after she died. “This was the Mother Lode. They set aside thirty-five of the boxes along with two large plastic bins to take back to L.A.,” the book adds. The author and researcher loaded the records into two SUVs “while the undersheriff, unaware of what they were doing, emerged from the building and luckily didn’t seem to notice what was going down. They moved as quickly as physically possible, lest people at OCSD changed their mind.”
Transcript: In June of 2016 the Sacramento Sheriff’s department partnered with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies and offered a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the location of this person. This announcement came at a press conference held 40 years after the first known rape in Sacramento. After that press conference Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert convened a meeting of all involved counties including the elected District Attorneys asking each to dedicate more resources to answer that question. Those DAs offices responded — Ventura, Orange, Santa Barbara, Tulare, Alameda, Contra Costa, Stanislaw, San Joaquin, Santa Clara, and Sacramento answered the call. In January of 2018 semen from the vaginal sample in Charlene’s kit was used to develop a specialized DNA profile intended for investigative generic genealogy. The DNA profile can be uploaded to a publicly available genetic genealogy database for a list of names of potential relatives of the killer. No DNA and no other genetic information from these potential relatives was shared with law enforcement. A working group consisted of Paul Holes, Steve Kramer - Division Counsel for the LA field office of the FBI, Genealogist Barbara Rae Venter, and Sacramento District Attorney’s Office LT. Kurt Campbell, and investigative assistant Monica Czajkowski began the laborious process of building a family tree.
January: Constance's daughter Angela speaks to Joe for the last time. Only she didn't know it would be the last time. Joe said he was retiring in a few months and would come to Angela's Gold and Silver Shop to visit around April of 2018. Angela tells her husband, "Joe is my new best friend."
March: DeAngelo identified as a suspect via a public DNA Database, GEDmatch.
March 18 Transcript:
On March 18th 2018 Sacramento DA Investigative Assistant Czajkowski notified the team, “we just found another guy”. And the answer to that one question that has gone un-answered for over 40 years revealed itself. This investigation uncovered the following about Joseph DeAngelo: He grew up in Rancho Cordova. He served in the military. He was engaged to woman named Bonnie, a name uttered during an EAR sexual assault in Yolo county. He was employed as a police officer near Visalia during the ransacking series. He left Tulare county after the officer McGowen shooting, and then he worked as an Auburn police officer during the same time period as the East Area Rapist series, but was fired for shoplifting dog repellent. DeAngelo then moves to Southern California before returning to Sacramento. The Sacramento Sheriff’s department began following Joseph DeAngelo.
On April 23rd 2018, using an empty garbage truck, detectives collected trash discarded by Joseph DeAngelo from the garbage can which was placed on the public street for collection. The Sacramento county DA crime lab tested a tissue found in that trash and developed a profile that matched not only the defendant, but also matched the DNA profile of the perpetrator in 3 Contra Costa rapes, and 8 murders in Southern California.
April 24, 2018:
DeAngelo arrested at his home on Canyon Oak Rd in Citrus Heights, CA Transcript:
On April the 24th 2018 Joseph DeAngelo was arrested while standing on the driveway of his residence in Citrus Heights. Detectives interviewed the defendant after his arrest, confronting him with he sexual assaults in the rapist series and the murder of Brian and Katie Maggiore. They mentioned the overwhelming DNA evidence against him regarding the murder of the Smiths in Ventura and Cheri Domingo and Greg Sanchez in Santa Barbara.
Just a few hours before the interview, detectives observed DeAngelo vigorously working on his yard — jumping in and out of his truck and lifting heavy objects. Now, sitting in the interview room he feigned feeble incoherence. Later that day DeAngelo admitted to the deputies that he just pretended to act crazy to avoid getting in trouble. A short while later while sitting alone in the interview room on April 24th 2018, Joseph DeAngelo began to talk to himself. And among other things, he said:
“I did all that. I didn't have the strength to push him out. He made me. He went with me. It was like — in my head. I mean, he’s a part of me. I didn’t want to do those things. I pushed Jerry out and had a happy life. I did all those things. I’ve destroyed all their lives. So now I gotta pay the price.”Source
That same day:
Jim Huddle says that he learned of Joe's arrest from a "New York reporter," and that he didn't comment because he had to hang up and "process the news." Jim says he didn't know anything about the murders but was very familiar with the East Area Rapist crimes because he "lived there, and was concerned and afraid" at the time since he had a wife and young daughter.
Constance's daughter, Angela, remembers the conversation she had with Joe in 2014, regarding DNA. And Joe's reaction makes sense to her now. Angela now thinks that Joe didn't visit Constance when he said he would because Angela had mentioned the DNA test. Angela blames herself, having mentioned DNA to Joe, for Joe not visiting Constance.
Mr. Patrick (Pat) Monno identified Joseph DeAngelo from a photo stack in 2018. From a face to face contact with DeAngelo when he had interrupted him during a prowling and chased him afterward. He had gotten a look at his face. That prowling took place on November 23rd 1975. Beth Snelling also identified DeAngelo from a photo stack in 2018 from an incident where she had observed him peeking into her bedroom window approximately one month prior to the murder of her father. Five other witnesses also identified DeAngelo in 2018 from photo stacks based on individual face to face contacts with DeAngelo during prowling and ransacking events occurring around Visalia in 1975. After DeAngelo's arrest in 2018, Gary Schneider told law enforcement that DeAngelo was attacked by a German Shepherd when they, as teenagers, burglarized a house in Gold River. Angry at the dog, DeAngelo set it on fire with a M-80 firecracker.
May 14, 2018: Next court appearance for DeAngelo
May: DeAngelo's youngest daughter is 29 and is living with Sharon in Roseville.
Lawyers in the Golden State KilleEast Area Rapist case believe they have reached a deal under which suspect Joseph James DeAngelo Jr. will plead guilty to 88 murder, rape and other charges at a June 29 hearing and avoid a death penalty trial with a life sentence imposed instead, four sources have told The Sacramento Bee. Details of the agreement, which has not been formalized in court documents filed in the case, still are being worked out, as is the final decision on where the hearing will take place.
June 29: According to sacsheriff.com/inmate_information website, the location for the next hearing on 6/29/2020 has been changed from Department 61 to Department 24 at 9:30 am. [Source]
In his book, one of Jim Huddle's claims is that Joe had gold bars in an antique stove, in the garage. Constance's daughter Angela wonders if Joe had planned to sell the gold bars at her Gold and Silver Shop.

Sierra Burgess Is a Loser wurde am 7. Weitere zentralen Rollen gingen an RJ Cyler, Kristine Frøseth, Will Peltz, Lea Thompson, Alan Ruck und Chrissy Metz. In diesem Zustand entwickelt Stephanie gelegentlich dunkle Flecken in ihrem Gesicht, was seiner Theorie zusätzlich Glaubwürdigkeit verleiht.
2020.06.10 20:22 IamunderanNDASimpsons vs Spongebob Fighting Game
Hello, I am a developer for the video game company THQ Nordic. I’ve been working on the Simpsons vs Spongebob fighting game for quite a bit of time now. The games been pretty much completed for the longest time but hasn’t been announced, a lot of employees including myself aren’t very happen about that as we all worked very hard on it and now aren’t sure if it will ever be released. So I’m here to just break the news about it right now, hopefully this game coming to light will motivate THQ Nordic to finally once and for all, announce a release date for the game. I won’t be telling every little detail about the game, as I don’t want to spoil it for anyone when they get the chance to play it. I just want to tell everything I know about the basic things as of now. Such as roster, moves, stages, etc. Simpsons roster: Marge Homer Bart Lisa Mr Burns Ned Flanders Krusty The Clown Chief Wiggum Spongebob roster: Spongebob Patrick Squidward Sandy Mr Krabs Plankton Larry The Lobster Mrs Puff Simpsons Stages: The Simpsons house (742 Evergreen Terrace) Kwik E Mart Springfield Mall Moes Tavern Springfield Elementary playground Spongebob Stages: In front of Spongebob, Squidward, and Patricks houses. Krusty Krab The Chum Bucket Mrs Puffs Boating School Middle of Bikini Bottom Interactables in some of the stages: Most stages will have interactables that the player can use while fighting. The Simpsons House: During the match you might spot Snowball II or Santa’s Little Helper wandering around, if you interact with them, you can throw them on the opponents face, Snowball II will scratch up their face while Santa’s Little Helper will bite up their face. Kwik E Mart: You can kick the opponent into the checkout area, where Apu will bang your head into the price scanner. Moes Tavern: In Moes Tavern you will see a large muscular man sitting in a chair, you can shove the opponent into the large man, the man will get angry and beat the opponent up. Krusty Krab: If you are fighting in the fry cook area, you can grab the opponents hand and put it on the stove. Burning their hand. Chum Bucket: If you are playing in the Planktons lair area, you can make Karen electrocute the opponent. Mrs Puffs Boarding School: In the background of the stage you will see Flats the Flounder, you can throw the opponent into Flats, who will then say “I’m gonna kick your butt!” Flats will beat the opponent up then throw them back to you. Basis of the story: Springfield has been polluting the waters for years, dumping anything they can into the water, ruining the ecosystem, and Bikini Bottom has had enough. Bikini Bottom wants to get revenge on Springfield. They create large slingshot like machines that shoot the garbage back into Springfield. This means war. All of Springfields citizens begin to throw absolutely everything, more than they did before, into the ocean, just to spite Bikini Bottom. Enough of the petty back and forth with garbage, it’s time to get up close and personal, after having a town meeting, hosted by Mayor Quimby, they all agree on a raid on Bikini Bottom. Only problem is they cannot breathe underwater. To counter this issue, Professor John I.Q. (the nerdy weird scientist guy) comes up with a special pill that makes humans breathe underwater. The effects only last for 12 hours. Sandy Cheeks from Bikini Bottom also has a similar idea, to make the fish, crabs, and sponges of Bikini Bottom be able to breathe on land. Sandy invents a mini water generating machine that must be swallowed, once swallowed, the machine will generate enough water to keep them alive for 12 hours. Both towns have a similar plan, Springfield plans to go underwater and deface Bikini Bottom, absolutely wrecking it with anything they can. Burning things down, spray painting, anything. Bikini Bottom plans to go on land and throw all the trash they can onto Springfield. This creates for some funny situations, humans experiencing sea life for the first time as well as fish experiencing Earth for the first time, well, except for Sandy. This will be a fun and zany story that anyone can enjoy. Power moves: Equivalent to a super move in most fighting games, a power move is a move that can be charged up, when unleashed it creates a cool cinematic of the opponent getting their butt kicked, every character has one and they all deal a lot of damage. Here are the ones I’ve seen: Barts: It starts up with Bart shooting you with his slingshot, Bart punches you his hands and skateboard then puts you on the skateboard and sends you into a crowd full of kids, all the kids in the crowd are ones that you will recognize if you’re an active viewer of the show. The crowd of kids all throw stuff at you, kick and hit you, then spit you out until you’re laying on the ground in front of the infamous group of bullies, they all give you a good beating, Nelson delivers the final blow. At the end of the power move, Nelson will say his iconic “Ha ha!” line then sprint off. Mr Burns: Burns will shoot you with a radiation laser, putting you to sleep, you will then wake up in his factory. You are on a conveyer belt being controlled by Smithers. You will zapped and shocked. You will jump off the conveyer belt all dizzy and woozy. Smithers will then shoot you with a nuclear ray which will give you a third eye, or a second eye if you are playing Plankton. You are then shot by another ray which takes away your extra eye but turns your character model into the style of the opposite series (Example: if you are playing SpongeBob you will become SpongeBob but in the Simpsons art style, if you are playing a Simpsons character like Homer, the effect will be vice versa.) You are shot with a ray a final time, which turns your animation style back to normal, but it blasts you out of the factory and back onto the stage you were on. SpongeBob: A stove will be pulled up to his side and he will shoot Krabby Patties into your mouth, more than you can handle, it will enlargen the character, sort of like Squidward in that one episode where he eats all the Krabby Patties, he then starts cooking up a Monster Patty, like the one he did in the Bubblebass pickles episode. As Spongebob is ready to launch the Monster Patty into your mouth you see Bubblebass come into frame and say his iconic “You forgot the pickles!” Spongebob slaps Bubblebass away and sprinkles pickles into the Monster Patty. Spongebob, using all his might, launches it into your mouth, since you are no longer able to cram any more Krabby Patties, you practically explode from them as they all launch out of your mouth. And those are the ones I’ve seen so far, we were scheduled to have a little watch party of all our supermoves about a month ago but unfortunately couldn’t due to COVID-19 concerns. Each character has a set of skins you can unlock whether from playing the story, or doing challenges and using your character alot, like everything in the game, alot of these skins are references to past episodes of both shows. Such as: Rapper Bart Popular girl Lisa Superhero Spongebob and Patrick and alot more. To back up my claim, here is a photo I took a while back of the character select screen. The photo was taken of a test demo of the game so the UI wasn’t up to par, but is very reminiscent of the final product. There is alot more to this game but I just wanted to give away the basics of it so it’s not spoiling. Basically an announcement for this game. We hope you guys get an official reveal soon!
2020.06.08 00:58 dnca111001The Amazing Race US: Season 9 Review
(a.k.a. A battle of the titans until the very end)
After the oddity that was the family edition, production comes back with a season with an eclectic cast of characters that range from funny, to charming, to obnoxious. It all goes down really well, balancing drama with lightheartedness in a way I feel like we haven’t seen since the show started. As the first ‘titan’ season, two teams take the spotlight and they’re a hoot to watch, whether they’re interacting with the world around them or with other teams - notably, each other. The rest of the cast does feel a little left out at times, but there are still a lot of crazy and fun, lovable characters to be found here. Add on a great route and some compelling late-game drama, and Season 9 is one for the books. Cast Pretty good! Even the early boots I was sad to see go, and the teams that make it further along all have their own quirks that you learn over time. I’d call this the best cast since Season 5. As mentioned this is a ‘titan’ season, so there are a couple teams that take the spotlight early on. Thankfully, I was able to get used to both of them - the editors do a good job at making them both root-able. Route A good one! Three new countries are visited (they are Greece, Oman, and Japan), and it’s the kind of route that doesn’t feel stale at all in that every country and locale looks and feels very distinct. Sadly, a lot of these legs are marred by Hours of Operation bunching points. On the other hand, this is the only race that features self-driving on every leg, and for a good stretch of legs those HoO don’t actually put everyone on the same page. It sucks that there’s so many bunching points, but in a way it’s more fun to watch teams forced to catch up with the rest of the pack. Challenges Really good challenges here. They do a pretty good job of making sure they’re culturally relevant and fun(short of the obligatory ‘extreme’ challenges), and there are some really memorable ones too. The puzzle roadblock in Italy, the monkey fruit temple in Thailand, and of course - the final challenge being the first of many epic memory roadblocks all come to mind.
!!! Spoilers Below !!!
Team Write Ups
Nerds Dave and Lori, 7th Place The kind of people that say Oh Mylanta. Dave and Lori fall under the rare ‘geeky nerd’ stereotype, and they last long enough to leave a really positive impact for the viewer - or at least, for me. They were very rarely at the front of the pack - usually somewhere around the middle or the back. But their relationship was so sweet! They are both very supportive of each other, and their nerdiness gets them their own special music that tends to play only when they’re on screen. They seemed to have an alliance with Mojo for awhile which was kinda wholesome and uneventful (although at one point they shared a taxicab when they both were feasibly in last). But my favorite thing about this team is when Dave gets a little frustrated at Lori. His response to his own frustration was this immediate self-reflection about how he didn’t want to get frustrated at Lori over something he couldn’t control. The thing is, we hardly really see him be frustrated in comparison to say, Lake. So to see him take his relationship that seriously is just wonderful. Fired Up Southern Stereotypes Lake and Michelle, 6th place This southern married couple argued a lot more than they didn’t, and it was mostly due to Lake. He reminds me of a cross between Johnathan from season 6 (bad) and Frank from Season 1 (good), in that he gets really excited and agitated over the littlest things, but it often comes off as him taking it out on Michelle. He doesn’t physically abuse Michelle or anything like that, but they get in spats constantly and Lake is always the one that takes things overboard! Between all the fighting and excited shrieking there’s also the added story line of Michelle trying to prove herself as an equal team player, which Lake sometimes acknowledges. Honestly I think that’s the important thing here - for all the arguing they do, Lake and Michelle seem to respect each other on some level, because they’re still married to this day. Even with Lake’s overbearing type-A personality, it seems that he needs Michelle when he just about has a panic attack in their final leg. I think that scene speaks to them as a couple the most - it’s very strange but they’re both in it for some reason. Lake’s overbearing personality seemed to rub off on other teams. He seemed to have a faux-charm that a lot of people saw through - I think it had to do with him insisting teams help him out. He did get verbally abusive with Michelle at times as well, and I completely understand people being very thrown off by him because of it. However, the way he yells and shrieks when he gets excited is also just kinda funny. So thanks for that, Lake. Sorry you were on the receiving end, Michelle. Hopefully things are a little less intense at home. Grandparents Fran and Barry, 5th place These two are wonderful! The ‘old people that are actually pretty good at racing all things considered’ trope is one of my favorites, and Fran and Barry deliver. They never argue and they’re often kind to other teams. They notably give BJ and Tyler the most money of anyone when other teams are down on them. They do have one weakness, and that seems to be their eyesight. This is highlighted in the very first episode when they spend half an hour on a bridge walking by a cluebox over and over. Over time they would have trouble finding things in the same way, and also Barry backs into a tree and completely smashes the back window of an SUV. But they manage to overcome it in most cases, and even pull off a first place finish - no small feat given the competition! Mactors Monica and Joseph, 4th place These two...are okay. They’re set up at first to be a team worth rooting for, and they’re pretty decent at the race as a string of podium placements tell. But ‘race fatigue’ seems to get to them, as does drama between the hippies and the frats as well. The hippies threaten them with a yield if they don’t give them money following their first non-elimination, and those dirty hippies follow through. From that point onward tensions are high. Joseph is shown as being insensitive to Monica every now and then, and the further along they get the more often they crack. Regardless, their rivalry with the hippies makes for great late-game drama and they don’t argue as often as, say, Lake and Michelle, which makes them a little less grating and a little more sympathetic to watch. Their downfall in their final leg is fantastic to watch, having made quite possibly one of the worst mistakes of the game as they piss away hours at a hotel and end up on a bus that arrives to their destination an hour after everyone else had gotten their clue. Dating Couple Ray and Yolanda, 3rd place I liked ‘em! Ray is the quiet, stoic type and Yolanda is the one that’s a bit more lively. The relationship usually works out for the better, even with a few little relationship-related speed bumps. Yolanda seems to get on Ray’s case in regards to some kinds of play-fighting, and it’s hinted that directions are their weakness. This does become apparent in the last few legs. Directions are shown to be the reason they fall behind in the last leg, stopping to ask for the route twice and spending too long looking for the clue at the historical park. Regardless, they were a respectful and rather enjoyable to team to have on screen. Flirtatious ‘Frat’ Boys Eric and Jeremy, 2nd place These best friend bachelors had two goals going to the race: Meet a diverse array of hot girls and win a million dollars. They flirt hardcore, with other teams (Dani and Danielle, mainly) and with babes they meet around the globe. It’s a world tour of women for them, and when it’s not, they prove themselves to be really good racers! They’re able to charge through just about any detour and roadblock with ease and they can navigate pretty well. They just can’t seem to shake those damn hippies! So why not resort to a little villainy now and then? Toward the end of the season when the rivalry heats up, both sides play dirty but Eric and Jeremy successfully cancelling peoples cabs takes the cake. Hippies BJ and Tyler, 1st place I think so far these guys are my favorite winners, right behind Season 7’s. BJ and Tyler are, like Eric and Jeremy, two good friend twenty-somethings raring to win a million dollars. But they’re just as raring to travel the world, and watching them travel from country to country in genuine wide-eyed wonder is great. They’re physically capable and can usually work their way around a map, but they’re seen more as followers than anything (because they do follow other teams a lot!). They also give MoJo a pretty straightforward threat - give us money since we have none, or we’ll yield you. They manage to follow through on this threat when they aren’t given anything, and it’s probably the closest they come to feeling villainous (One of them felt really bad about it though). In the very end, it was their memory skills that afforded them the win, and they were able to remember each country they visited in order, even though the ‘frats’ had a lead on ‘em. There is never a dull moment watching these two, and the fact that they win makes the season that much more entertaining. T-TOW!
Glamazons at the Helitour (Leg 1) Right on Leg 1 we are treated to a bizarre show of eccentricity courtesy of the self-titled Glamazons. They’re on the flight that arrives last in Sao Paolo, and decide to choose the helicopter side of the detour. As they arrive one mentions they’re going to pee in their pants they’re so scared. They complain about the maps and books, and as Fran and Barry walk in one of them says “Crap. A big load of turds.” (In frustration i think??)As they excitedly find Atrium V in the book, John and Scott arrive and they shriek in absolute joy at the notion of being ahead of two teams - they wave their hands in celebration. As they get the go-ahead to travel to Atrium V they caw in glee once more. And we get this lovely exchange. “I’M PEEIN - I’M - Oh, i just peed in my pants...Hurry up, I’m peein in my pants!” “Me too!” They continue the relentless screeching all the way into the helicopter while the other two teams try to focus. Lisa then gives one of the most amazing face journeys I’ve ever seen someone give, from inside the helicopter to the camera. Lisa, rest in peace. Glamazons, thank you so much for this. Below, some screenshots (of the face journey) for your viewing pleasure. https://ibb.co/album/9m2zDM Segesta (Leg 5) Probably my favorite challenge this season is here, and I very much considered making this leg a GOAT Leg because of this location. The ancient town of Segesta contains a roadblock in an amphitheatre - the Teattro - with a yield in front of it, and the pit-stop. Watching the last four teams jockey for position around Segesta is so much fun, and that takes up about the final fifteen minutes of the episode. For the setup, we have the Nerds and Ray and Yolanda leaving the clothesline detour at about the same time. We then see the Pinks(Dani and Danielle) and Lake and Michelle doing the clothesline detour, with Lake and Michelle finishing a few minutes ahead of them. Lake and Michelle contemplate yielding the girls. Ray and Yolanda are shown having gotten lost and losing quite some time. Lake and Michelle catch up to the nerds, who must have taken a backwoods or longer route (or maybe they were just slow. I don’t know). Lori tries to keep up with Dave as they run up toward the roadblock. Meanwhile, Lake and Michelle mistakenly think the structure that holds the pit stop is where they’re supposed to go! They climb all the way to the top of the hill and enter the structure, only to see Phil and realize they ran all that way for nothing. As the grandparents approach the pit-stop for real, Lake asks them where the Teattro is. They aren’t about to give up that info, though. The sun is setting at this point, and Ray and Yolanda and the pinks are driving around in the dark. We watch the nerds go on to the roadblock without yielding anyone - Lori is doing the roadblock. Lake shrieks at Michelle to run - GOOO! - it’s a hilarious noise. They use the yield. I don’t get this. They can see right on the yield board that there’s another team behind the pinks. I don’t think it’s worth the potential backlash to yield a team in that situation. Regardless, the pinks were pretty close behind and they’re understandably upset about being yielded. Lake chooses to do the roadblock while the pinks continue to complain (“Cause they’re hicks from the south and they’re jerkoffs. End of story!”) . Lori is confused by the puzzle having two extra pieces. Ray and Yolanda arrive at the parking lot while the pinks make fun of their yielders. They get to start on the puzzle after Lake and Michelle leave. Lori starts to have a little breakdown. Dave tries to help out but it doesn’t really do much for his partner. She eventually realizes there are just extra pieces and finishes it, still frustrated. Lake calls Dave ‘fat Dave.’ They pass Ray and Yolanda on their way up and Lake makes another weird shriek at the pit stop. Ray is an engineer so he decides to do the puzzle. The nerds reach the pitstop, where Dave expresses disdain toward himself at feeling frustration toward Lori. It’s actually a really sweet moment considering Dave barely snaps at Lori all leg, and otherwise just seems really supportive of her. It’s between Dani and Ray, and Dani can’t figure out why there are extra pieces. On the other hand, Ray is finishing up the puzzle (“I’m comin like Christmas!”). Ray gets to finish, but Dani actually messed up one of the pieces so she has to redo something. This space is all Ray and Yolanda need - they scrape by elimination as the 7th team to arrive, while Danielle and Dani arrive last. They get to talk about how tough they were, and Phil mentions how impressively quick they were to ‘hook up’ with Eric and Jeremy, a poignant statement given that Eric and Danielle end up on All-Stars. Fran and Barry pull a First place win (Leg 7) What makes this so impressive is that it’s in a season with two very dominant alpha-male teams. So what leads to it? Well for starters they find the detour with ease, not getting lost like the hippies did. They choose the message delivery over the camels which was probably smart, and it doesn’t take them much longer to do than the other detour. This puts them firmly ahead of the Frat bros, who fall behind a bit driving around lost with a camel in the truck bed. They keep up with the pack on the way to the roadblock, arriving first alongside team MoJo. With a bit of luck, Barry finds the lamb in a dirt mound pretty early, but has trouble getting it out of the hole. They leave third, behind MoJo and the frat bros. What’s key is that Mojo asks for directions a little more than the grandparents do, and the frat boys accidentally go way off course, arguably into the middle of the desert. This gives the grandparents the greenlight to be first in line, and even Phil looks a little surprised at the turn of events. Regardless, it’s really cool to see happen and I think it’s a deserved win! That three team race to not be last (Leg 10) I’m going to go over the entire leg below, so here I’ll just stick to the main event. After Ray and Yolanda surprise themselves with a first place, the Hippies, Frats, and Mojo end up basically caravaning to the pitstop, all three cars pulling into a parking lot at the same time and all three teams rushing out of their cars. For a second, we see all five guys putting distance on Monica as Joseph calls for her. The pitstop is on a pier. For some reason, Tyler decides he’s going to try and sneak ahead by hopping over some rocks, but he falls down? This lets Monica catch up to him, and as they race toward the mat, with less than a second between them...Monica beats Tyler to the punch. The hippies arrived last, once again...Of course, this wouldn’t be the end of their story, but this race to the finish is up there for most intense moments of the series.
A Battle of the Titans A titan season is one where the overwhelming majority of the seasons legs are won by either one or two teams. The first one is here in Season 9, and it’s certainly got two of the most dominant teams to be cast at the same time. Hippies Bj & Tyler and ‘Frats’ Eric and Jeremy take home 11 of the 13 pitstops, often both in first and second. By the end of say, the third leg, it becomes apparent that these two teams are leagues above the rest and one of them is taking home the crown. They start off as willing teammates, usually with the Hippies following the Frats when they’re up front. We see that they have fun messing around (the wheelchair airport race scene is a fun one), but over time that allyship turns into a rivalry as the Hippies are saved by not one but two non-elimination points. Once allies, the frats don’t leave money for them when they have none, and in a particularly heinous moment decide to cancel their cabs (of course this backfires)! Even then the banter and trickery is still there until the end in a mostly playful way. As a viewer, you’re expected to root for one of these two teams. I imagine most people want the good-natured quirky ‘hippies’ to win over the flirtatious and obnoxious frats, but they both delivered and I would’ve been fine with either outcome.
Leg 10 (“Man, They Should Have Used Their Fake Names.”) This is a GOAT leg for quite a few reasons, mostly for how it starts with a lot of interpersonal drama and how it ends with a three-team footrace to the finish. Let’s go over the whole thing in detail. From the Fremantle sailing club in the dead of night, teams need to find the Swan Bells tower. The frats mention the tension between Mojo and the hippies. Monica says it’s ‘no-holds barred’ at this point in the race. The hippies talk about how they told Mojo they would yield them if they didn’t leave them any money in Oman. They didn’t get money from them in Oman, and now they plan on yielding them - no trickery there. Yolanda mentions that this is the longest time she’s spent with Ray. Monica gets hit on by an Aussie bloke in front of Joseph at the bell tower, where all teams catch up due to an HoO. The hippies consider creating friction between the frats and Mojo by telling Joseph the frats are flirting with her girl. In the morning, Ray and Tyler request cabs. Jeremy does as well, under...Doug Brubaker. And in a moment of brilliant villainy, the frats cancel cabs for Ray and Tyler!! Hence, the episode title. Teams grab the clue, ( fly to Darwin and enter a crocodile pool for the next clue), and search for the taxis they called. The hippies get in a taxi and it looks like they’re about to leave, but it turns out it’s Joseph’s taxi. They don’t push it when Joseph instructs them to get out, but do second-guess their actions. In an amazing example of instant karma, the Frats also seem to have lost their taxi. Ray and Yolanda realize someone cancelled the cabs, and considering Mojo were the only ones that took off, they and the hippies agree that they cancelled them! The frats end up falling behind. Yolanda says “Black people wouldn’t be stupid enough to get into a pool of crocodiles,” pauses for a moment, then says “Or would they? Cause...that’s what we’re about to do.” “For a million dollars they might.” At the airport, Joseph asks a male airline ticketer for the quickest route to Darwin - and no one else can no about it. Ticketer: “What’s it worth?” Joseph: “A million dollars.” Ticketer: “No, to me.” Monica: “Oh...a big kiss :)” The hippies tell Mojo what happened to the cabs and they respond to it rather poorly, just cementing the idea that they did cancel the cabs. When the frats arrive they do a good job of playing dumb. The hippies try to sow discord with the aforementioned ‘flirting’ card between the frats and Mojo, but it doesn’t do much. Everyone arrives in Darwin at once. There’s another HoO at the crocodile park. Tyler continues to try and start shit between Jeremy and Joseph, who gives a pretty good evil-eye for the camera. At the crocodile park, one employee lets teams know - “If you step on a crocodile, it’ll turn around and bite you.” Can’t argue with that. BJ suddenly has a top hat. There’s a close race to the yield mat between Mojo and the Hippies, and right in front of their faces the Hippies make true on their threat to yield them. Monica and Joseph get rather upset as they suddenly end up in last pace due to the yield. The skydiving roadblock...is a skydiving roadblock. BJ yells TTOW while freefalling, and some harsh words are exchanged as the hippies walk past Mojo. Teams search for a clue at magnetic termite mounds, which is visually pleasing, then encounter the detour. The frats and hippies do ‘Wet’, which involves them trekking down a jungle river. Ray and Yolanda do ‘Dry’, which involves driving for a while and then searching for a man playing a didgeridoo, which they then must play. Mojo are in last, and they choose ‘dry’ as well. These detours are okay, but for a few minutes we’re just watching teams go through the motions. Other than some big spiders on the river and funny didgeridoo noises, not much happens. Ray and Yolanda finish ‘Dry’ before the male teams can complete ‘Wet’ and make a first place finish, the second of two legs not won by the hippies or the frats. Mojo finish ‘Dry’ while the male teams finish up ‘Wet’. And then suddenly, the Frats flag down an ambulance. The hippies turn around and stop as well, not wanting to lose them. Then, a shot of Mojo right behind the two of them. It’s now three SUV’s headed for the pit stop. Joseph gives the hippies the bird. They all pull into the lot, everybody getting ready for a sprint. Monica isn’t sure if she can beat the hippies in a foot-race. All hell breaks loose as six people give it their best. For a moment it seems like Monica is trailing by a long distance. But BJ decides he’s going to traverse some rocks as a shortcut, only to fall down! This lets Monica finish before BJ, putting the hippies in last place. Of course, their story isn’t over... Although the first part of the episode is literally just teams going from one bunching point to the next, it’s filled with entertainment in the Frat boys deceit and the Hippies plan to create a little chaos. Mojo being Yielded by the hippies is satisfying after watching them say they want to do it for so many episodes. The detour segment is a little bland, but it culminates in a crazy close footrace to avoid elimination that is unforgettable.
The Sixth Doctor, Constance Clarke and Filipa Greenwood are taken to 1937 where they meet the brilliant author, H.P. Lovecraft....a brilliant author, but perhaps not a brilliant person? But, he was a (racist) author with an imagination of Lovecraftian nightmares, and those Lovecraft monsters are perhaps planning to visit.

The Eighth Doctor, Helen, and Live are back! Back on Earth! But the TARDIS is broken, and perhaps the TARDIS team aren't just visiting Earth. Perhaps they're stranded. They now have to adapt to living life in 2020 London (but not the 2020 we're experiencing), but along the way they'll meet new neighbours (Rebecca Root), policeman (Tom Price) and perhaps.....art curator's (Tom Baker).
Dr. Toshiko Sato are having a very crappy Valentines Day in an Opera, waiting for a date that doesn't show up. And it gets worse when you're told by Ianto Jones that the Opera is full of aliens. And the doors.....are locked.

2020.05.25 16:54 InumaDear Obama... No Scandals, right? A look into the King of the Democratic Party and the chess game within
Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. None... You don't own none of this in being the Greater Evil along with your unseen scandal but you're Teflon, right? You're the Kingmaker and worked with the establishment to give us Russiagate for the past three years. I mean, you did better than the Republicans. They actually held the government hostage because of their economics beliefs. You held the government hostage for THREE. YEARS. Over Hillary losing to a game show host. But okay, homie... You got nothing. Comey's just a crook,Hillary's a crook, and Holder is a crook. We got nothing on you. So before we take the king, we need to show all the pawns that had issues before we see checkmate for you. Victim Pawns - Michael Flynn and Tulsi Gabbard - Military personally targeted by the Obama administration for anti-imperial positions. Michael Flynn was calling out the MIC while also calling out the damage of American foreign policy in Syria which created the Russiagate hysteria. Seth Rich - At this point, there's more "there there" than there is with Russia hacking the DNC. Seth made a sacrifice to blow the whistle on corruption within the DNC and they worked desperately to cover it up. Not only was he murdered, the Awan brothers spied on Congress under Debbie Wasserman Schultz and got away with it. And the FBI lied about him right along with Donna Brazile. And why did the DNC get paid from his murder? Go figure... Russia didn't cause all this. Shawn Lucas - Though undermined, Shawn served DWS a summons and was killed soon after. He's not forgotten, only under the shadow right along with Seth. For Tulsi, her stepping down from the DNC in 2016 made her a permanent enemy of Hillary Clinton. So much so, she has had to sue for defamation when Hillary called her a Russian Asset with no proof but an assertion. Nevermind her high security clearance or Hillary's debacles as Secretary of State in Libya or Afghanistan, it's particularly for her anti-war foreign policies. Taking down Michael Flynn with the FBI's lies was the goal. The Indictment was a lie FBI pawns - Christopher Steele, Cody Shearer, Syd Blumenthal and Bruce Ohr - Christopher Steele went to Russia, collected dirty messages about Putin and gave it all to Bruce Ohr. Cody Shearer and Syd are part of Hillary's smear campaign. Steele was paid by the Clintons and the FBI covered it up while working for Fusion GPS through his wife, Nellie Ohr. As you work your way up, you see a lot of spooks which I already talked about before. FBI Rooks - Peter Strzok,Lisa Paige, and Robert Mueller - What people don't realize is that Peter Strzok screwed up royal. His texts became public and we saw the collusion between the FBI and against Flynn and others to support Hillary. This is the norm for the FBI anyway in picking favorites. They hate Trump. They thought Russia invaded the election. Mueller was the clean up man to fix this mistake. Yet he and Lisa Paige screwed up royal here by supporting Hillary. There was no collusion with Russia with regards to Trump and even Strzok, working on keeping Hillary out of prison and putting Trump into prison, stated there was no "there there". Establishment bishops - Joe Biden and Adam Schiff - Joe Biden worked to get a prosecutor fired and has been working to get elected through election fraud. The reason for his focus on the Ukraine is because his son Hunter Biden was being protected through Biden's corruption. Adam Schiff knew that Crowdstrike had no evidence for three years and is protecting his assets in the Ukraine such as an arms dealer heavily involved with an American coup in overthrowing an American president. Moon of Alabama has more:
Russigate was a false story, invented by the CIA chief John Brennan with support from MI6. The Steele dossier was recognizable as an obvious fake as soon as it was published. But the FBI still used it. To find evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russiagate the crooks at the top of the FBI went as far as to make false sworn statements to the FISA court. It did not help.
Democratic Party Queen - Hillary. Rodham. Clinton. I could spend pages on her alone. And I have. So read those here Point being, bitter that she lost to a game show host, Hillary enacted this revenge plot along with the help of Obama and Brennan who are next. Kings - John Brennan and Barack Obama - Put these two in the same room and you'll get very similar policies. Obama went along with the policies of John Brennan who destroyed Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan, while working to overthrow Syria. John Brennan is the mastermind of the Russiagate hoax. The lies of the CIA pushed the Russiagate narrative on all TV channels for the past 4 years. It was John Brennan that pushed the dossier. It was John Brennan that colluded with MI6 on this Russian narrative.
Stefan Halper features prominently in the plot. All-but-officially outed by the government as a CIA source, the aging academic had contact with at least four members of the Trump campaign. Halper’s job of connecting targets with Russians, however, dates back to January 2014, when he worked at Cambridge University alongside Sir Richard Dearlove, the former director of the British intelligence service MI6, and Christopher Andrew, the official historian for the British counterintelligence group MI5.
It was John Brennan wanting to take down Michael Flynn:
In other words, Flynn, was likely set up because he was preparing to audit John Brennan and the intelligence community as part of his role as national security advisor to President Donald Trump.
And Obama let this happen. The King decided to give the CIA free reign over the Democratic Party and this is the mess he'd made. Hillary getting off because of the Rooks. When they fell, the queen is still in trouble of being taken off the board. The pawns are mainly gone. The King is being surrounded by the opposing side. Lefties fed up with the Democratic Party, right wingers calling out the liberal hypocrisy, the internal machinations becoming more desperate as the CIA-Democratic Alliance is being exposed. All that's left is the King on the board. The one that facilitated the worst aspects of the CIA, allowed through the Bush era foreign policy, and didn't help the masses while pushing for two warmongers known as Hillary and Biden. When the fall of Obama comes, it will be a day to remember. There's many people falling as the criminal investigation of Russiagate continues. But know that it was a false story pushed by Obama and Brennan to avoid dealing with the fact that they lost to a game show host by rigging a primary against Bernie Sanders and allowing their own failed candidate to win. Checkmate.

Week #13: Devils & Dust
Link to the album on YouTube Link to the album on Spotify Track List (50:55 Minutes): • Devil's & Dust • All The Way Home • Reno • Long Time Comin' • Black Cowboys • Maria's Bed • Silver Palomino • Jesus Was an Only Son • Leah • The Hitter • All I'm Thinkin' About • Matamoros Banks Devils & Dust is the thirteenth studio album by Bruce Springsteen and his third acoustic album (after Nebraska and The Ghost of Tom Joad). It was released on April 25, 2005 in Europe and on April 26, 2005, in the United States. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard* 200 album chart. The album was recorded in three different segments, a period between 1996 and 1998, March till August in 2004 and finally finished in January 2005. Springsteen was very open about the fact that many of the songs from Devils & Dust dated back a decade or more. Springsteen wrote the song All the Way Home for Southside Johnny to use in his album Better Days which was released in 1991. The songs Long Time Comin' and The Hitter were written and performed during Springsteen's solo Ghost of Tom Joad Tour in 1996. Devils & Dust is also known to have been written previously, and was featured in soundchecks during The Rising Tour beginning in the summer of 2003 and the following year during the Vote for Change Tour in late 2004. (Springsteen had "Devils & Dust" on his set list for at least one Vote for Change show, but at the last moment decided to perform a 12 string guitar rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, which he would later release for free through his official website). Starbucks had been considered a possible retail outlet for the album, as it had accounted for about a quarter of all sales for the recently successful Ray Charles' Genius Loves Company. Starbucks, however, declined to sell copies of Springsteen's new album, sparking some headlines. Starbucks rejected the album not only because of the song Reno, but because of stances that Springsteen had taken on corporate politics and Springsteen not granting approval for a cobranded disc and promotional deal that prominently featured the Starbucks name. Springsteen's label, Columbia Records, balked when the idea was floated, citing the blue-collar champion's well-known opposition to merchandising his music. "There were a number of factors involved...[Lyrics] was one of the factors, but not the only reason," Ken Lombard, president of Starbucks Entertainment, told Reuters. At a concert at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia, Springsteen introduced Reno by joking that the album would be available "at Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme stores everywhere." Springsteen received five Grammy Award nominations for this work, three for the song Devils & Dust, Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, and Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance, and two for the album as a whole, Best Contemporary Folk Album and Best Long Form Music Video. His sole award came for Best Solo Rock Vocal, an award he garnered in previous years for Code of Silence and The Rising. During the February 8, 2006, Grammy telecast, Springsteen gave a live solo performance of Devils & Dust, adding on Bring 'em home at the finish, then immediately turned and left the stage without staying to receive his partial standing ovation. The tour for the album lasted from April 21st 2005 until November 22nd of the same year. There were 76 shows through 4 legs. Audience members at larger venues were often greeted by a paper handout, proclaiming that "Tonight's show is a solo acoustic [sic] performance, set in a theater style arrangement ... There will be no seating during each song ... All concession stands will close 10 minutes prior to the start of the show ..." The concert's stage set was sparse, with a few instrument stations laid out, a carpet and lamp, two reddish chandeliers, and darkish, subdued stage lighting. But the instrument stations were indeed a break with the past, for Springsteen's 1995–1996 solo Ghost of Tom Joad Tour has seen him only playing acoustic guitar and harmonica. On the Devils & Dust Tour, by contrast, he would not only play those two, but add piano, electric piano, pump organ, autoharp, ukelele, banjo, electric guitar, and stomping board, thus adding considerable variety to the solo sound. Furthermore, his guitar tech Kevin Buell and a mysterious "Mr. Fitz" would on some songs contribute hidden, off-stage acoustic guitar, synthesizer, and percussion. This ran against Springsteen's purely solo performance claim, but provided welcome instrumental coloring (and there was a precedent, as offstage keyboards had been used a bit on the Ghost of Tom Joad Tour as well). And while the tour was officially billed as "Solo & Acoustic", there were in fact two electric instruments onstage and one offstage. 2020.05.06 21:53 TaffyMafiaThe Uncharted System Pt 2!
Through threat of teleporting steel-capped boots I have made a part 2! Glad that you guys enjoyed the first iteration :D The NRAO was the premier space observation organisation in the US, and a goldmine for Astrophysics and astronomy researchers from across the globe. David however wasn't one of those highflying professors on the TV, talking about different aspects of their field that were either already out of date, or cherrypicked to sound less boring to the viewers of daytime TV. No, he was the backbone of the organisation, or so he liked to think anyway, with himself recently graduating Harvard with a doctorate in Astrophysics and a bachelors in Astronomy. He was given the easy task to map out cosmic radiation along the rest of his team of new researchers along the area of space around Neptune to Pluto, in the Very Large Array down in New Mexico. David knew this was baby steps for him, given a relatively simple mission by the lead researchers to get used to the massive arrays used by the NRAO and to gain a rapport among his fellow researchers. He was just about to finish his shift for the night, documenting small fluctuations in the radiation levels around Pluto, when the largest spike he had ever seen, both in person and in the classroom, came up onto the computer. Hey Lisa! are you seeing this?! He called in to his colleague over at their station, that used different light rays to scope out the surrounding planets around the neighbouring star systems. David, Can't talk right now! getting something bigger than Wow! She replied, or rather shouted, to him. Bigger than the Wow! signal? David thought, incredulous to what this might actually be, the fuck is happening right now? what could cause this? Then he saw it, one of the recent physical images that a telescope took just before everything went insane. He called over one of the technicians, asked if there were any calibration issues, and when confirmed everything was in order. Passed out - Gareth Holmshaw wasn't having a good start to the day, in fact it had been a terrible start. When he first joined NASA he never expected it to be easy, far from it, moon landings and satellites were all hard work when it all rested upon the administrator's shoulders, especially if a $15 million rocket and payload exploded on take off, and he obviously expected the odd enquiry when they went over the budget from time to time. But today was far worse Not only was he woken at 4:00AM on his awaited day off, he was told to immediately head to Charlottesville for a meeting with the head researchers of the NROA, as well as an emergency meeting with the President, joint chiefs of staff, as well as other key officials he never even knew the names of after his trip to Charlottesville Now heading to the meeting room, he noticed a distinct increase in security around the area, all armed. All passages were blocked, security scanners were manned at all entrances, he even saw a guard dog at one point. What the hell is going on? Upon entering the room he could tell something was off. Not only were the heads of the NROA there, but researchers, and technicians, all tired and dishevelled, and all arguing with each other. Ah, Mr. Holmshaw! one of the heads cried out, Glad to see you, sorry it couldn't be on better terms, but there is some level of urgency. Gareth noticed it was Brian Lowe, head of the Telescope array down at New Mexico. His normal outlandish and smart attire was un-ironed, and he had bags under his eyes. Hi Brian, what's the problem? He grew even more concerned when Brian looked even more tired, nodded, and told him to take a seat. Only once the cacophony was over, projector turned on, and everyone seated, did Brian speak up. Ladies and Gentlemen, apologies for the rush to get everyone here, however what I have to show you is both the most exciting and terrifying event that has happened in all of human history. The murmurs picked up again, guesses of meteors and blackholes cropped up, adding to Gareth's belief that something DEFINITELY was wrong. Ladies and Gentlemen, Approximately 3 hours ago the researchers down at the Big Array discovered signals of strength that were impossible to think off, levels of Background radiation, and light radiation all the way up to Gamma were detected up to 10x the normal amount registered. We're talking about the Wow signal being nullified. He then showed graphs and images on the projector, which Gareth knew caused one or two of the dignitaries' eyes to glaze over, and a lot more to tremble. We then picked up physical images of the area around Pluto and Neptune. And the whole room exploded in uproar... At the sight of over 100 alien ships in orbit around Pluto... Gareth just stared, confused and terrified, for his family, for what he had to say to the President, for his country, and for the world at large. His day just couldn't get any worse right?
2020.05.05 03:15 -figger_naggot-I Broke Into An Abandoned Chuck E. Cheese Except I Rewrote The Ending
The original story belongs to Rhonnie14. If rhonnie doesn’t approve of this, feel free to take it down. Hope you all enjoy my take of the ending! College was supposed to be more fun. Especially considering how lame high school was for a quiet geek like me. These were supposed to be the best years of my life. But so far, they'd been far from it. I was twenty-one when I transferred to Columbus State University. My family was from Cusseta so I'd been to Columbus, Georgia numerous times over the years. Only now I was on my own in a campus apartment. And unlike Cusseta, Columbus was a big city. A sprawling map of clubs, bars, and restaurants. But I didn't make it out to these places very much. I didn't socialize with anyone really. No, I was still the shy movie geek from Cusseta High. Still Kyle Pleasance, ladies and gentlemen. 2015 wasn't shaping up to be any better than my previous three years of on-line classes. I was still alienated and awkward. Attractive without being hot, lanky without being tall. Maybe I could've done more with my unkempt and frustratingly-straight brown hair. Or wore colored contacts for these brown eyes. Or fuck it, just somehow change my bony face to chiseled perfection. Then again, maybe some fashion sense aside from constant cargo shorts and bland tees would've helped me attract women... But at school, I was lost in the sea of way hotter dudes and jocks. Girls only seemed to get weirded the fuck out when I tried to approach them. Hell, so did the guys I was just trying to start a bromance with... I guess the movies had educated me wrong about human interaction after all. I spent all my nights in the tiny apartment. Beer and Turner Classic Movies my only companions. Deep down, I missed home. I missed mom and dad at least. In a world of no friends or girlfriends, I still had them. You know, someone to watch TCM with. I guess I was too much of an old soul for 2015. I did find some ways to entertain myself. Call it urban exploration to be classy or ghost hunting to be crass, but I had an interest in the paranormal. Particularly local legends and haunted locations. My hobby took me all over Columbus. There was Crybaby Bridge and the riverwalk said to be haunted by the ghosts of Civil War soldiers. I may have never seen anything too crazy, but the heightened beer buzz certainly fueled my adrenaline. But the Mona Lisa of my Kyle Pleasance Project had to be an abandoned Chuck E. Cheese on Macon Road. Like a shunned stepchild, the large building was the lone defunct property in one of Columbus's nicer strip malls. Okay, so maybe the treasured kiddie attraction wasn't an elaborate haunted house, but I had fond memories of this place. My parents used to take me there as a kid. All the way up until 2002 when it closed. I still had nostalgia for the Chuckster. Even if I knew there was no way I could ever explore this museum of memories. The heavy chains wrapped around its front doors made that all too clear... But there was still something so strange about this particular playland. Even through the darkness, I could still make out the old games and displays. The graveyard of a 90s arcade. And amongst the clutter, I could even still see a tall Chuck E. animatronic behind the main counter. The playful Chuck you'd see on all the logos back in the day. In his patented purple shirt and cap. Not to mention those puke-green shorts. Curiosity got the better of me. Rather than attending parties or going out on dates, I'd hole up in my apartment and research a fucking defunct Chuck E. Cheese's. I knew these stores came and went so probably nothing too mysterious happened. But still, why'd the company leave all their shit behind? And why had no one purchased the decent location? Through my Google investigations, I found out the Macon Road Chuck didn't close for bankruptcy. Apparently, Muscogee County forced them to shut down. All due to a series of weird accidents and "malfunctions" no one in the Columbus press bothered to disclose. Sure, there were allusions to failed inspections and out-of-date equipment... but no mention of anything that would warrant such a sudden shutdown. No mention of any serious injuries either. Instead, the "real reason" became a riddle... and one I couldn't help but think about. Constantly. Of course, inevitable rumors ran wild on-line: the Macon Road Chuck E. Cheese was haunted! Not that I was surprised. After all, a closed Chuck E. Cheese's with its animatronics and games still intact was like a ghost town fueled by childhood nightmares. My only issue was I had no way of getting in. I didn't have any friends in Columbus who knew more about this mystery. Not until I met P.J., that is. P.J. was actually the one who approached me. Like a curious fan, she ambushed me in the college library. Right at the island of computers I usually occupied by myself. Rather than fulfilling a fantasy of being the Manic Pixie Dream Girl, P.J. embodied that cliche with a rugged toughness. I could tell she was street-wise and didn't give a damn about having perfect make-up, being an anorexic model, or keeping her hair fixed. P.J. was wild... thankfully more Lisbeth Salander than Zooey Deschanel. She was herself. From the short black hair embellished by a perfect emo swoop to pale skin that hadn't seen sunlight in years. Hell, she even dressed worse than me. Always black jeans and grungy hoodies... I'd never seen P.J. around before. She was pretty in an unconventional way. Like me I suppose. But instead of possessing my awkwardness, P.J. was a friendly and charming twenty-one-year-old. Over the next few weeks, we'd meet up at the library. We'd go out to the movies. Go to all the weirdass places around here. Even though she didn't drink as much as me, we'd sometimes just chill in my apartment. She lived in a dorm on campus, so we were never too far apart. The feeling of actually having someone to share adventures with was so... nice. Refreshing. I guess I'd just gotten so used to the isolation, I forgot how much fun it was to have a friend. We were two weirdos enjoying our youth. And as much as I'd have liked to become more, we stayed friends for the most part. Okay, so my gaydar skills were about as pathetic as my people skills. I think P.J. must've known that from the start which is why she didn't freak out when I attempted to tell her how much I liked her and wanted to date. That being said, P.J. referred to herself as "mostly gay." So there were some drunken nights where things got a little frisky. And P.J. always made the first move. We'd make out and feel on one another. She'd have me send her pics once in a while. Never anything crazy like you see in the college movies. I guess I just got the vibe P.J. suffered from the same loneliness and self-esteem issues I did. Call it allied alienation. After my twenty-second Birthday in January, I finally got around to asking P.J. more about the Macon Road Chuck E. Cheese's. Of course, we'd discussed it before. P.J. knew how much that place was the Treasure Island for my urban investigations. My dream destination. P.J. had even told me she had a key for Chuck E. Cheese's back entrance. Apparently, quite a few Columbus State adventurers did... Like me, P.J. had grown up with that Macon Road fortress. In fact, her and her brother Justin used to go there every weekend. P.J. even showed me one of the pictures they took at a Chuck E. Cheese photo machine back in the late 90s. Her brother had long blonde hair and a goofy smile. A mini-surfer boy. But on a drunken Friday night, I pressed P.J. for more info. At the time, we were bored and sharing a twelve-pack on my couch. And deep down, I was hoping she could tell me more about what caused the once-mighty mouse to fall. P.J. gave me a sardonic smile. "You really like that Chuck E. Cheese's, huh?" Holding my longneck, I leaned back on the sofa. "I don't know. I mean is it really haunted?" P.J. nodded. "I like to think so." "So like what happens?" Like a professor ready to lecture, P.J. lowered my beer. "It's never anything too weird," "Not like Five Nights At Freddy's?" I quipped. "No," she said with a laugh. "Nothing like that or any of those creepypastas." Lost in her reflection, she looked down at an empty beer bottle standing on the ground. "I just get a weird feeling there. Like everything's the same but warped and twisted, you know." She faced me. "Like the Chuck E. Cheese spirit is still trapped inside." I took a restless sip. "Well, what really happened? Why'd they close it down?" In a nervous rhythm, P.J. ran her hands along her arms. "They had a really terrible accident." "Oh shit..." P.J. looked off toward the coffee table. Obvious discomfort in her expression. "But no one really likes to talk about it. The whole town, honestly." Like an eager child in the crowd, I waved my beer toward her. "So what the Hell happened?" "A few kids died," P.J. stated. "They had a real bad fire and some people got trapped over by the machines and ball pit." I placed the longneck on the table. My movements clumsy from fear. "Fuck, man..." my shaky, deep voice said. "That's fucking crazy." "Yeah..." P.J. faced me. "The whole town just decided to shut it down after that. Just leave it in the past." Intrigued, I moved in closer. "So this is all true? How do you know?" "I was there." Immediately, I backed off. A sympathetic move to give her space. "Oh fuck... P.J., I'm sorry." "No, it's fine." Fighting off the emotions, she went silent. "I got out. But Justin didn't." "Shit, I'm sorry!" Doing my best to comfort P.J., I wrapped my arm around her. "I'm so sorry, P.J." Calm, she held me back. "No. It's okay." No open floodgate of tears flowed from her eyes like I expected. She must've been used to the pain. The fifteen years of agony. "I guess people just... make those legends up about the characters being possessed by all the kids," P.J. said. "You know. Your typical bullshit way to make fun of a tragedy." I nodded. "No, I get that. That's fucking shitty..." "Yeah. But in a way, I kinda like it." She flashed me a weak smile. "Whenever I go there, it does feel like Justin's back. Like I can still feel him running around. I can hear him." Supportive, I returned a smile. "For real?" "Yeah.." In a playful gesture, P.J. handed me my beer. "Well um, you wanna go tonight?" I grabbed the booze. "What? Really?" She caressed my face. I felt warm adrenaline run through my body. "Yeah," P.J. said. "We'll call it a late Birthday present." So we got up and left. Me in my Eurythmics hoodie, P.J. in her David Bowie one. I got drunker and drunker by the second. Not to mention more and more excited. Like a ship captain about to find his Treasure Island. By one A.M., we arrived at Chuck's. The chilly January wind hurtled against us, but P.J. got the back door open with ease. Then we took the plunge. P.J. and I entered straight darkness. And the place felt even darker once the back door shut behind us. We were in a narrow hallway. A chilly, narrow hallway. I could tell Chuck E. Cheese's had grown colder over the years without any heat or rambunctious crowds. Shivering, I followed P.J. down the hall. Our cell phones are our only light. Our heavy breaths the only sound. We passed a few closed Employees Only doors. Like the gates to El Dorado, I saw an opening entryway straight ahead. An entrance to Chuck E. Cheese's cavern. "Come on," P.J. said. She snatched my hand in a tight grip and led us to the finish line. We stepped into the main room. Shining in through the windows, street lights helped illuminate our surroundings. I turned and stole a glance to our right. Tall, towering figures sent chills down my spine. Until my eyes strained to see them in the darkness. Then warm, fuzzy nostalgia soothed my fear. Like an intimate nightclub, I saw Chuck E.'s band standing there on stage. All four of the animatronics looked ready to give the performance of their lives. Even for an audience of none. There was Pasqually on the drums. His mustache was more flamboyant than I ever remembered. Then you had Jasper the brown dog on guitar. His flannel shirt is perfect for a redneck cartoon. Helen played bass. A long, cool hen in a pink dress. And unlike P.J., Helen appeared to be a family-friendly punk. Of course, at the front of the stage was Chuck E. himself. Like a movie star, he stood with great poise. A big smile on his face. The animatronic clad in a gold-trimmed, black tuxedo. A red bow tie, and, of course, his signature red derby hat. "Wow!" I exclaimed. Still guiding me, P.J. grinned toward the stage. "Yeah, pretty neat, right?" "Definitely." As we got closer to the front counter, I made sure to focus on "the band." To my surprise and maybe disappointment, none of them moved a muscle. Nor did they play SNAP!'s "Rhythm Is A Dancer" or any of their other 90s staples. Instead, the four characters were more stationary than wax figures. Only Chuck E.'s eyes never strayed from me. Those big, bulging bastards followed P.J. and I all the way up to the glass prize cases. My eyes scanned the rest of the place. There was an arcade. Even well after ten years, I still could recall all the games... then again, the fact that they were all glued to the very same spot helped jog my memory. I was glad to see the Ghostbusters game, the pirate ship, and all my other favs. Even without electricity, the arcade was glorious. Everything preserved like antiques. Across the store was the ball pit. Even from here, I could see colorful circles overflowing inside of it. The awful fire must've not been bad enough to bring the contraption down. Even the thin netting looked unscathed by the flames. Right next to the pit was the photo machine. Not a booth, this was just a screen you stood in front of to have your picture taken. Probably the one item in here completely worthless. Not from fire or damage, just from technology. The machine a dinosaur tech gone by way of the smartphone's selfie. The glass prize cases up front were also in great shape. Rows and rows of odd toys and VHS tapes worthless to any rational retailer but invaluable to any child fortunate enough to have a wealth of tickets. Another Chuck E. Cheese animatronic stood behind those front counters. The tall, playful one in his customary purple tee and green shorts. Letting go of my hand, P.J. walked up to the cases. "It hasn't changed much," I said. Even from inside, I could see layers of chains swirled around the front entrance doors like metal cotton candy. "I'm honestly kinda surprised." "Yeah," P.J. responded. Approaching her, I stumbled into the glass case. "Ow!" I said with a drunken laugh. Chuckling, P.J. faced me. "You alright?" "Yeah." I looked up and saw the purple-shirt Chuck E. looming right over me. His beaming eyes stared at me with the zeal of a jewelry salesman. Through my drunken haze, I couldn't remember where I'd last seen this Chuck. Wasn't he further behind the cases? P.J. grabbed my arm. "Yo, look what I found!” Like a proud child, she showed me a handful of 'gold' tokens. The gold now faded into a dark smudge. But the Chuck E. Cheese logo was still clear as day. "Wow!" I smirked. "Where the Hell'd you get these?" P.J. dumped them in my hand. "They were on the counter." She motioned toward the arcade games. "Maybe give them a shot." Scoffing, I looked back at the glass cases. Like a museum exhibit displaying Native American artifacts, a dozen yo-yos and cheap watches stared back at me. "I might win you a ring..." Playful, P.J. gave me a light push. "Do it then!" Armed with the coins, I fiddled around in the archived arcade. None of the games worked, of course. But just to see them in this catatonic state was enlightening enough for my emotions. And much to my delight, cobwebs didn't cover all the slots. The games were clean. As if they'd been catered to by a caretaker. And Hell, the whole place just smelled nice. No storage smell or old people scent. Everything was just so... fresh. P.J. stuck around until her own sentimental urges took over. I didn't stop her when she gravitated over toward the ball pit. She deserved her own nostalgic fix. All along, I was saving the best game for last. Just like I did when I was a kid: the pirate ship. I stopped right in front of the classic. The small wheel awaited my eager touch. Before I could turn it like a deranged captain, loud thuds distracted me. I looked on across the store to see P.J. stumbling around in the pit. Plastic balls swallowed up her feet and ankles. Behind a goofy grin, she gave me a wave. "Hey!" "It looks like you're having fun!" I yelled. Cheesy arcade music erupted before me. A booming nautical jam. Stunned, I confronted the pirate game. And there on screen was the main menu. A first-person perspective of an animated ocean. All to the tune of that awful sea theme... "What the fuck..." I muttered. My uneasy eyes surveyed the arcade. All of the other games were still off. A void of black screens. I looked over at the stage. The band was still there. Still deathly quiet. None of them had moved an inch... even though Chuck E.'s eyes were focused on me with a nightwatchman's stare. The pirate game music somehow got louder. A conglomeration of flutes and fiddles tormented my ears. Growing more and more uneasy by the second, I glanced toward the ball pit. But no one was there. Not even P.J.... either she'd left me behind or the pit had swallowed her whole. In a crescendo, a beeping rang over the nautical song. A mechanical crunch erupted. Like a dangling tongue, a long row of tickets shootout the ship game's slot. The sea music veered toward victory horns. I'd won the game without even trying... I stared down at the "reward." No way in Hell I was taking it. I may as well have been shaking hands with the Devil. Heavy footsteps echoed toward me. Whirling around, I scanned the arcade. Just the village of blank screens greeted me. Not a soul in sight. Even the footsteps had stopped. "P.J.?" my trembling voice said. No reply. Not a voice or whisper. "P.J., is that you?" I asked. My gaze shifted toward the glass cases. All the overpriced prizes were still there. But playful Chuck E. wasn't… "Okay, not cool, P.J.!" I said, forcing my voice to sound calm and collected. The polar opposite of the immense fear I felt… I stole one final glance back at those tickets. They were crisper than a fresh ten-dollar bill. Ignoring my inner child's pleading voice, I refused the "reward." Panicking, I sped walked back toward the ball pit. My frantic footsteps echoed through the store. "P.J.!" I cried. There was still no movement inside the pit. Not a sign of life anywhere in that colorful cage. Putting my tokens in my jacket pocket, I glanced at the stage. The animatronic band was forever ready to play. Only now they seemed different. Chuck E. and Helen had their heads tilted to the side. And Chuck E.'s eyes were still on me as if he were singling me out from the crowd. Creeped out, I walked faster. I was too young and stupid then to run... all because I didn't wanna look like a total chickenshit in front of P.J. Even if I felt like one. "I'm ready to go, man!" I yelled. Just a few feet away from the pit, the photo machine cut on. It didn't even have to warm up. In a split second, the screen went from black to colorful. An elevator music rendition of Smash Mouth's "All Star" started playing. I came to a frightened stop. As the music played, the screen flashed old photos to tempt me toward it. Pictures of parents and children in all their 90s glory. I looked toward the pit. "P.J.!" There was nothing. I mean not a sound, not a voice. Not even a ripple amongst the sea of bright plastic balls. Pulling my hoodie in tighter, I faced the picture machine. The screen now froze on a large photo. A picture of me. Seven-year-old Kyle Pleasance. Like a flashing neon sign, the photo drew me in. I staggered up to the machine, horrified yet fascinated. "What the fuck..." I said. "How..." I traced a finger over the image. Right over my beaming smile. I wore gym shorts and an old Braves tee-shirt then. My grinning parents stood right beside me. All of us are so happy and young. The real best years of my life... I couldn't cry in the cold. Much less with all the terrified adrenaline pumping through my veins. But the emotions still had me choking up. In that brief moment, I was back in 2001. Back with my parents. Back in the glowing arcade. Back chasing those cheap, shitty prizes. Long before I became so isolated and jaded... Fighting back the tears, I lowered my hand. But my gaze stayed on the photo. One I really hoped mom had after all these years. Even with Smash Mouth on, I was getting sentimental... Another picture floated across the screen and landed before my eyes. There was the picture P.J. had shown me. The one of her and Justin going wild in this very Chuck E. Cheese's many years ago. The two overjoyed siblings smiled right at me. Nerves exploited my heightened emotions. A lingering fear still boiled up inside me. When I turned to look toward the pit, a flash erupted. The machine's big, bright camera blinded me. Cringing, I shielded my eyes. "Shit!" I yelled. I blinked a few times to recover. And then I looked on at the machine's freshest picture. Horror conquered me. And just like that, my nostalgic thrill was gone. The screen showed twenty-two-year-old Kyle Presence standing there. And right behind me was the playful Chuck E. He stood tall, his glowering eyes staring down upon me. The animatronic displayed an eerie grin. Chuck E. had just performed a self-aware and all too creepy photobomb. Terrified, I whirled around. But the Chuckster was gone. Music far louder than the game or photo machine blared toward me. Spice Girls's "Wannabe" blasted through whatever speakers this place still had. And to my ever-growing fear, I realized they were coming from the stage speakers. My eyes confronted the "performance." Tux Chuck and his band moved to the beat in disjointed, awkward fashion. Like a robot rock show. I glanced at the ball pit. "P.J.!" I screamed in a final desperate attempt to get my friend. "Come on!" silence greeted once more until finally the plastic balls began to rapidly ripple as a faint screaming became louder and louder. P.J. emerged out from the plastic pile screaming bloody murder, arms flailing “KYLE! HELP ME!” she frantically cried out as she grasped onto the side of the ball pit with all her might, resisting whatever the hell was trying to pull her back down below. Her face was covered in tears and streaks of blood. Tears filled my eyes as I darted over to her, grabbing onto her arms, pulling them with all my might, finally yanking her out. As I fell onto my back, P.J. followed, plopping on top of me. P.J’s quiet fearful sobs greeted my ears “We gotta get the fuck out of here..” I said in a quivering tone, groggily getting back up onto my feet. “come on P.J.!” I shouted, grabbing hold of her arm, softly pulling it. She responded in a quiet whimper “I.. I can’t!.. My ankle.. It’s broken..” "shit..” I muttered. Not thinking twice I quickly picked her up, carrying her in my arms. I glanced over to the stage catching a frightening glimpse of the Chuckster's pantomime performance. All four of the band members had focused their intense gazes on us. Under the strobe lights, I could see Helen step toward the edge of the stage "Fuck.." I bolted for the hallway still clutching onto P.J. breathing heavily as I got closer and closer to the exit. The arcade was going crazy. The mechanical crunches echoed from all the machines. Those flowing tongues of tickets. Poured out of each and every game in a steady rhythm. Using my phone, I illuminated the dark hallway the best I could. Behind me, I could hear loud footsteps following me. An army of heavy feet… Like the animatronic monsters, the 90s cheese chased me. Sugar Ray's "Fly" now shattered through the speakers. Disoriented, I reached the back door. But before I could force my way out into the cold night I heard a child-like voice cry my name out “Kyle!” I turned around to be greeted with several kids standing a few feet away from us. Justin amongst them. All of them seemed to be under the age of ten. And all of their faces were blank and expressionless... "It's okay, Kyle," Justin said as he took a step forward as a sly smile crossed his lips. "We mean no harm, we just want to fly..” the children that stood behind him were now smiling. Justin's the wildest and most mischievous of the lot. "This is where you belong, Kyle" Justin along with the other children slowly walked closer, my fear consuming me as I struggled to pull away. “With us" Their walking came to a sudden stop. Too scared to even muster a word, I looked down the hallway. Standing near the children were all five animatronics. Purple-shirt Chuck E. the leader of the pack. They all had wide smiles that rivaled Justin's. And they weren't moving or breathing... The five characters were back to being playful statues. P.J. was still quietly sobbing into my chest, completely oblivious to what was happening. "Fly" swirled around the children like a personal soundtrack. Like this was all a warped advertisement for life at Chuck E. Cheese's… "Come with us, Kyle," Justin beckoned me. "No!" I shouted. The children began chuckling. Even Their taunting laughter formed a sick chorus. My efforts to break away from my frozen state were again proved futile. P.J. lifted her face from my chest looking up to me “K-Kyle, are we out?” she said in a quiet whimper, i didn't respond, i was too afraid of what would happen if i looked away from them, even for a second. “Kyle..?”. She looked over to where I was facing and gasped fearfully as I felt her fingers dig into my back. “J..Justin?..” she tearfully muttered out. “Hey big sis, we missed you..” Justin said in a monotone. “Oh my god!! y..you’re still alive!! I knew it!” P.J. responded tearfully. I felt her tight grip on my back swiftly loosen. As I felt it, I snapped out of my frozen gaze and quickly snatched her back into my grasp. “No! P.J. That isn’t him!! They’re fucking you!!” I persisted. She refused “No! you're lying!! That is him!" She tried to escape my grasp once more as I desperately pleaded. “It isn’t! Please P.J.! Trust me!!” P.J. bribed once again “No! that is him!” “Goddammit P.J.!” I shouted. Justin walked even closer to us, “It’s okay Kyle, there’s nothing to be scared of, all we wanna do is fly..” Justin sadistically giggled. He was now an inch away from us, he grabbed P.J’s hand, slowly began tugging “Come with us..” upon feeling Justin’s tug, P.J. halted her struggling and looked over to him, reeling in horror at his sight. Justin was recognizable from a far but up close. He was a mangled mess. My stomach sank upon seeing his nightmare of a face. “Ju..Justin?” she muttered, beginning to resist Justin's tug. “What’s the matter sis?” "Y..Your face.." "what about it?" P.J’s fear returned. “Wh..What the f..fuck.." she said in a quit whimper. Justin tugged harder and started digging his dirty fingernails deep into her skin, piercing through it "aren't i pretty?.." he tauntingly responded before giggling sadistically. P.J. screamed in agony as her arm started gushing with blood. My grip on P.J. tightened, I pulled her away from Justin's unreasonably strong grasp with all my might, eventually releasing her. As I did so the tokens in my coat pockets flew out in a coin explosion, a few ended up stuck in my palm. Justin reached out towards me and P.J. with a devious smile. "Stay..” I gripped a few tokens and swiped them at his outstretched hand while I shouted "Get away from us!" And like a blade, the tokens sliced through his flesh as a long strand of skin fell to the floor. Horrified, I watched him raise his hand with pride. with that still devious smile, he showed off his hand's exposed "flesh." were dark metal and Wires. He was a fucking machine… The other children's manic laughter grew even louder. The hallway became a literal echo chamber of terror and madness... I noticed the Chuck E. Cheese animatronics were all so silent and still. Their bulging eyes just focused on us. As if they were guards for the horror lurking down the hallway. Justin's movements were full of twitches and quirks as he took another step toward us. A twisted soul fusion of his animatronic wiring and human flesh. "we just want to fly,” Justin sang along with the cheese. His voice got deeper and more hollow than ever… Shivering, I stared into his unblinking eyes, as he kept getting closer. The hallway became our stage. The laughing children soundtrack. The silent animatronics our audience. "Put your arms around me, baby," Justin kept singing. "Put your arms around me, baby..." finally snapping out of my frozen trance, I turned around and kicked the back door open. Running out into the January wind. Outside, I stole a look back. Through the glass door, I could see Justin watching us. The children all around him like he was their cherished father. Together, they smiled as if posing for one of those Chuck E. Cheese pictures. I ran away carrying P.J. later slowing down out of exhaustion. I took another look back to see if they followed us and thankfully they didn't. I looked back over to P.J. to see her covering her still bleeding wound with her other hand, while cringing. My eyes widened “Oh shi..” I mumbled under my breath. I squatted down and seated P.J. onto the sidewalk curb as Took her hoodie off and tightly wrapped it around her gushing wound. Letting out a sigh, I took a seat beside her, I ran my fingers through my hair as I looked down at the pavement. Both of us sat there in complete silence, still contemplating what the fuck just happened... After a few more moments passed, I broke the silence. “So, It really was haunted after all” I let out a small chuckle “Jesus fuck..” I heard a quietly shaky laugh come from P.J. I looked over to P.J. to see her smiling slightly. “Y..Yeah, that was some crazy shit” she chuckled shortly, before groaning in pain. My eyes widened “Oh shit P.J.! Wha-” I was gonna ask what’s wrong before quickly realizing that her ankle was broken. “I..Is it your ankle?” “Y..Yeah.. Shit hurts like hell...” She said in an aggravated tone before grabbing her ankle and rubbing it in a rhythm. "I'm so sorry you had to go through this shit P.J... I’m gonna try to call for an ambulance” P.J. responded with a semi relieved expression. I got up from the curb, pulling my phone out from my pocket to do just that. Before I could successfully ring them though, I was greeted by a notification on my lock screen telling me there was no service in the area. “ughh..” P.J. looked up from her ankle. “What happened?” “there's no service here” P.J. responded with a disappointed expression. “fuck.. The hell are we gonna do now?..” I sighed. “I guess I’ll just have to bring you back to my place and I’ll call them ther-” Before I could finish my sentence, I noticed in my peripheral vision was a convenience store not too far off. “I guess not” “Huh?” “I see a convenience store a couple blocks down” “Oh-kay..? How will a convenience store help with this?” She responded confused. “Well, maybe it has service?” She gave me a skeptical glare “I highly doubt a convenience store out here has service, I mean you can still give a shot but I don’t know...” “Well, let’s just see,” I said as I picked her up, carrying her in my arms again. We began to make our way over down the dimly lit sidewalk. During the walk, I asked. “So uhm, what did you see down there?..” P.J. Responded confused. “see down where?” “The ball pit” P.J. immediately went silent. After a couple seconds I glanced down to her, to see a blank expression on her face, her eyes displayed genuine fear while holding back tears as she began to softly shiver. “Fuck.. I..I’m so sorry for asking that” trying to comfort her as I softly caressed her shoulder. “N..No It’s fine, I Just.. never want to remember that... Thin...” P.J. cut herself and looked up at me with a stern expression. “C..Can you promise me, that you’ll never tell this to anyone and never discuss with me ever again?” “Oh.. I.. I promise. Hell I don’t blame you, i don’t wanna remember that shit again either...” “Thanks Kyle..” “Don't mention it. Well we made it, oh great there's a bench next to the entrance. Now I don't have to carry you inside” I chuckled. P.J. snickered In response. I seated her down onto the bench. Then pulled my phone out to see if the place had service and thankfully it did. “Hoh thank god” P.J. glanced up to me before i looked at her, then showed the data stat on my phone like a determined child “See i knew it was gonna have service!” P.J.’s eyes widened in surprise “Oh shit, nice!” “Yeah! Well since we're here, I guess it wouldn’t hurt to grab a couple snacks and things, huh?” “Mm, hopefully you brought your wallet” P.J. jokingly responded. “Oh shit that’s right” I checked both my hoodie and jeans pockets. Nothing. “Damn..” “Don’t got it?” “nope” “Mm,” “Eh it’s fine, getting an ambulance over here is far more important right now” taking a seat beside her, I looked back over to my phone, then dialed and successfully rang 911. As we waited for them to arrive, I looked up at the night sky “It's so pretty tonight” P.J. said, smiling warmly. “It is” “Wanna see if you can make something out?” P.J. quipped. I Scoffed. “Oh no, I suck at piecing together stuff. Heh, this takes me back to when I was little, my dad would always take me out camping for the weekend. Every night we’d sit outside and try to make out objects or animals in the stars and I’d always get them wrong” I chuckled “good times” “Mm, that’s nice” “It was” “...You know. There’s something i wanna tell you” “What’s that?” I curiously glanced over to her. “I know that i said i was mostly gay but, that was a lie. I-I really do like you. I.. just didn’t feel ready to pursue a full on relationship then, but now after the time I've spent with you and after you've literally saved my life, I.. I Think i’m ready now..” I felt an immediate warm rush of adrenaline, my heart began thumping in excitement, I shakily responded “R..Really?” “Yeah. Are you though?” She said unsurely, looking over to me. “I-I think so” A smirk grew on her face. "Nice” she warmly responded before scooting close to me, softly grappling me into a side hug. A warm smile grew on my face as I Jokingly asked. “Soo, does this mean we’re gonna go on that date?” P.J. laughed. “Sure, why not?” I chuckled in response before sighing happily. I placed my hand on her hair as we shared silence, continuing to get lost in the night sky...

2020.04.21 11:35 panclockstimeMy first time watching
I’m on mobile so I’d like to apologize beforehand if it looks all stupid. This is my first time watching the show. I’m currently watching Season 5, Episode 8. Since the beginning I’ve hated Hannah, she’s rude, selfish, inconsiderate and she ruins everything she touches, that still hasn’t changed, I would absolutely hate to have a friend like her. In the first seasons, I hated Marnie too but as the show progressed I stopped hating her and I’m okay with her now and I find myself feeling happy when good things happen to her. I like Jessa, I feel bad for how she struggles with her addiction and I actually didn’t even mind when she started dating Adam, I think they’re good together and have a lot in common. I also like Shoshanna, she’s so cute and it made me sad to see how unhappy she was in Japan and how she broke down to Aidy Bryant. I really like Elijah, I think he’s hilarious and I don’t get why he’s friends with Hannah’s selfish ass. I love Ray, he really is the voice of reason for the girls and he’s always there to help them, I think he’s a great guy and it also makes me sad when he gets the shit end of the stick. I hate Desi, he’s such a dick! Adam is crazy, and I don’t think Hannah and him were good together for many reasons on both of their ends so I’m glad that they didn’t eventually get back together(so far). Also it sucked seeing how Charlie’s life went downhill. This is kind of unrelated but fucking Lisa Bonet just came out and I’m fangirling!!
